Whatever it is, the Council will believe the Reapers exist after this.

Haha, I doubt that. The reapers could knock on the Turian councilman's door and tell him, “We impose order on the chaos of organic evolution. You exist because we allow it, and you will end because we demand it.” and the Turian would the Turian would just laugh and say, "Ah 'reapers,' yes. A little early for Halloween isn't it, Shepard?"

Ultimate sacrifice is clear and unambiguous. Sacrificing a team mate is NOT the ultimate sacrifice.

Which proves what exactly?

It's just a link of you killing everyone off in ME2, what the hell does that have to do with any thing?

You can't have less than 2 squadmates. If someone plays with this kind of PT, with sacrificing a squadmate, it will screw up the game.

How about sacrificing the crew and team of the Normandy? They can all potentially die in ME2 so you may have to sacrifice them so that in ME3 they can start afresh without having to worry about all the variables of them being alive.

Not suggesting this is what's going to happen but it'd be the ultimate sacrifice alright.

No.

How can I sacrifice my crew in this DLC if I lost 10 of squadmates and everyone from abducted crew( including Chakwas)?

OMG. OP, you are my favorite person. When I woke up today, my back hurt, my head hurt and it's hot in my house. But now, I feel no weakness, for I am overjoyed. I love you, OP. Sorry for the leak Bioware but I love you too.

The reason this sacrifice will NOT involve someone from the squad is because that would contradict the game's technical stability. We know that there are people among us who have playthrough's where they literally killed off their entire squad except for two so that their Shepards survive. Now consider doing this DLC on such a playthrough; obviously, if you sacrificed one of those two squadmates, the game would no longer be playable, as it is required that you have *at least* two living squadmates in order for a) your Shepard to live and B) the story to continue.

In short, it's not an ME2 squadmate. That's out of the picture.

If the Ultimate Sacrifice is someone from Shepard's squad, I wonder how many people would actually buy the DLC.

It won't happen.

You're probably tired already of linking that. xD
The Sacrifice will be Dr. Amanda, I'm telling you! You spend the whole DLC protecting her and then BAM-SACRIFICE-LOL.

I agree. There are way too many obvious reasons it can't be a squadmate. And it can't be Shepard, unless it means that the DLC has to be played last, which they won't do. It is very likely Dr. Amanda.

Here is one hypothesis, though: it's VS. Still distraught over Virmire, our VS tries to sacrifice themselves. Shepard races to stop them.

am i the only one that thinks the sacrifice is the sol systems mass relay because this doctor is studying the relays and no reinforcements have come to earth in the me3 teaser trailer
actually them destroying sols relay could happen since the reapers clam to have built them the could just use one of there own to make a new sol relay to get to earth

Mu Relay wasn't even damaged from supernova.
How do you figure to destroy Mass Relay?

You sacrifice everyone who is left.

Joker cannot die, two of the squad cannot die. The ship is still there.

You may have to lose them all so that all that's left is Shepard, alone and stranded, in order to save something or stop the Reapers.

So...what about Kasumi DLC - one squadmate?

They did say there will be post-Suicide Mission DLC and it's possible that will happen.
But still it's no-go for squadmates to die in this or any other ME2 DLC.

You know with amount of stuff that is leaked before any official announcement, I'm starting to think they're just doing this on purpose <_<

It would be very interesting if Arcturus Station by way of the University was finally introduced in the game. Would it be in the local cluster? Maybe we get an e-mail from this Amanda person asking for protection and we end up visiting the station where we would finally meet Admiral Steven Hacket who looks like this: http://www.videogame...oss-artwork.jpg

Which means this DLC would end my playthrough?

How would Bioware explain that for those who didn't get this DLC and start ME3 and saying "WTF happen to Normandy, my crew and where the f*ch is Shepard?!"?

Shepard fights alone in prologue, but because it was programmed to. As well as Kasumi DLC programmed only on one squadmate.

Bioware said there won't be any new squadmate after Kasumi.

The same way they did for people who played Mass Effect 2 without Mass Effect 1, and those who didn't get LOTSB and are going to wonder why the hell she is now the Shadow Broker.

"Previously on Mass Effect..."
