Ah, but we know garrus likes nice batarians on his team if they have skills.
Why not? I think garrus' batarian tech expert sounded nice.

So, if Shep is captured by Batarians then it could be setting up a Batarian crewmember in ME3 by having one helping Shepard in the prison and helping her/him flee from it.
That would probably be the only way to to have absolutely everyone accept a batarian squaddie, if Shep owed that guy his/her life.

Garrus isn't batarian hating human ME players. Those will need a really good reason to accept a batarian squadmember.

why should the batarians be any different i'm also sure that some will have seen some evidence of the reapers and be willing to look the other way when it comes to working with humans

Besides, I'm an Infiltrator. There is nothing, and I mean nothing an Infiltrator can't cloak/sneak out of.

What about giving yourself up for a scientist that might have the key to winning against the reapers?
Cloak all you want, when you're in chains it won't do you any good

Nobody here thinks Arrival is a hoax. There is too much evidence to support it. The trophies listed on PS3, apparently in the last update there are files for a system with Batarian planets, yada yada. There are some good recaps on about every page by Thompson Family I think it was. It's just that 3-days later we've taken some turns in our speculation.
Everything from the VS being sacrificed to Shepard captured by Batarians so he can break out with a Batarian squadie in ME3.

She'd better move her butt quick then.
And cloaking in chains is a good way to escape actually. Break the neck of the guard who investigates how I "escaped."

Shepard doesn't cloak in cutscenes.
I remember in the first mission in ME2 I cloaked, then as the first cutscene there started I uncloaked at the perfect time; it made me look like the Predator. It was so awesome

If they find a way to get you captured by Batarians and still have your squad, then fine. I don't know though... the more I think about it, the more I don't think it will be something that gets you captured like that. They can't really start ME 3 players in the middle of a prison, can they? I'm not even talking about people who just pick up ME 3, but those who play ME 2 without the DLC are going to be completely lost.

Remember Salkie? The batarian who greets you on Garrus' recruitment mission? He was a nice guy. Shame he probably died in all the merc mess though.

About the batarians, there was one batarian who was quite a nice guy. Not one nasty comment about humans or anyone really. And he was a batarian that you had a full conversation with too.

Yeah, I quite liked him...For a batarian
