Your favourite and least favourite race?

Least favourite: Turians (mainly because of the council member, if there isn't a "Ah yes, 'Reapers' I thought you had dismissed that claim" dialogue option in number 3, I will rage), Volus, Batarians.

Asari on the other hand... Single-sex species with innate biotic abilities (unless other life in Thessia also use biotics, this one doesn't make any sense) who happen to look just like (minus the horn-like growth) human females*? And they're apparently mammals too. wat. Fan-service race really... Why they don't have more androgynoys built which would make more sense (unless they do affect other species perception how they look as that one human on Illium speculates). Oh and blue skin. Why/how*? If the vegetation on Thessia is blueish then i understand blue skin as natural camouflage* (which would also imply some large dangerous predators whose main sense is sight).
Batarians are interesting... made to look repulsive to us BUT they're EXTREMLY humanlike culturally. Well humanlike at our darkest hours but still (and quite many probably refuse to, or are not willing to, see this). And their appereance... they could be humans on an alternate universe. Like them due these factors BUT i also dislike them as they look way too human-like, in an universe which already has humans. Two species evolving to look very similar within one galaxy... I wonder what the chances are for that (though of course, with life having evolved in multiple planets, even having SIMILAR (if not same) DNA, maybe species that look a lot different would be very strange and chances for that should be very small-to-non-existent).
*Do not bother answering my questions, as that would derail the thread
Ehh, a bit lengthy and i don't have a true favorite. And of course my views don't affect my decision in-game... Generally speaking i like the alien party members a lot more than the human ones (mostly a personality thing though)
And yes, i think too much this despite it being a fictional world crafted for entertaiment, not a scientific thought experiment.

Favorite ones:
asari: i like women, the color blue, and magic like powers. put them together and its all good.
turian/krogan: both give the same feel to me. one just is more serious and the other gives the "eh...f it" attitude.
varren: i like dogs and having a big alien dog would be great
selarian: i find most of them funny for one reason or another.
elcor: great at karaoke and at expressing themselves in general
hanhar: blasto
least favorite:
yahg: scary teeth vagina mouth
drell: didnt really care for their story mostly.
quarians: i dont remember any convo with any quarian that didnt end up being about geth, ai, their immune systems, or something along those lines.
batarians: basically it feels like there is only one batarian in the universe and i just keep running into him
anything else i dont really care one way or another

The funniest is when their emotional description is longer than the message itself. Like a thorough description of their intent, followed by the message: no. lol.

That being said....
1. ELCOR (ELCOR HAMLET <333)! - I mean wut! They are so awesome and they kick so much butt. I want to hang out with that Elcor bouncer outside of Afterlife. No really, think about how much easier communication would be if one could clarify it in their speech itself. I find their social lives to be very interesting (tight, close groups and solid Elder structure) and in some ways and they are gentle giants (though that one Elcor on Omega is kind of mean) who understand the value of carefulness and slowness. I dig the metaphor immensely.
2. ASARI - Yeah, yeah, fan service blah blah blah, but they have the potential to possess great knowledge and wisdom. Asari commandos are awesome and I respect that they were the first ones to reach to citadel. The emphasis on the three stages in life are interesting and I really dig that they respect their elders.
3. QUARIANS - A marginalized group fighting for their homeland and essentially are imprisoned within their suits for fear of death and contamination, yeah, I dig them. I also like the solidarity and familial bonds they all sure due to their circumstances. I wish humans felt more of a kinship with each other like that.
4. SALARIANS/TURIANS - They are tied for me. Salarians are interesting and I absolutely adore Mordin but we haven't had much encounter with many other Salarians. Turians do have great voices, but they also can be a little stand-offish. Meh. First Contact War and all that...(But I do love that Turian Councilor's obstinance)
5. KROGAN - I like the Krogan. I feel for the tragedy of their plight, but I worry about their future and their ability to change. As long as Wrex leads them, I feel some promise, some hope that they've learned their lesson.
6. VOLUS/HANAR- Interesting and cute. I wish we could see them in roles other than the business, money grubbing sort. The same goes for the Hanar! (WHERE'S BLASTO?)
7. VORCHA - Ummm....I like when they call me filthy human!
8. DRELL - The perfect memory thing is a little much and their eyes creep me out, but that's a personal problem. I like Thane and Feron however.
9. BATARIANS - No respect for slavers. None whatsoever. Completely irredeemable as long their promote and subsist upon slavery, and I don't really care if that's their way of life. It's disgusting.
UNMENTIONED: Rachni...don't have any feelings about them either way. The same with the true Geth...just don't know enough.

Quarians - more diverse than even humans (and they have Tali)
Salarians - the hyperactive nerds of the galaxy
Evolved Geth - they are built of WIN
Space Hamster - so cute!
Pyjaks - killing pyjaks is hilarious
Least Favourites:
Batarians - they are all ****s
Volii - cynical as hell and they take forever to say three words
Vorcha - damn space gremlins
Humans - so many of them think that they're the most important species in the galaxy...oh wait...

Least: Asari
But that said, I still love the asari. I can't really say I dislike any of the races. But if I had to pick out one to hang out with. That'd be the order.
Design wise, however, my favorite is the yahg [...he's wearing a little business suit!] If you put a top hat on him, I don't think the galaxy could contain the awesome.
Least favorite design wise is the vorcha. I feel like they look like they're from a different game, and those little...armpit...flesh strings drive me crazy.

Most favorite: Humans, of course
ETA: I also detest the Batarians. Unprincipled, uncivilized bastards. They say eyes are the windows to the soul, which explains why they have no souls, since they all escaped through those four eyes of theirs. As for vorcha, I can't stand them either. I prefer to light them on fire with incendiary rounds. Warms my heart....and theirs.
