Irrational hatred: Quarians. I like the quarian/geth backstory and as a fan of battlestar I feel like I should be sympathetic to a species kicked off their planets by artificial intelligence they created but I just don't like them. No fun at all.

Except Reegar, I'd trade Tali for him anytime, that guy knows how to suicide mission!

Okay, okay; who would I rather hang out with? Wrex; He'd prolly end up getting us gunned down, or killed in some manner. Legion; I'd prolly end up learning aboot programming and robotics and other cool things like that. At the very least, I'd have someone to play video games and D&D with (he's got aboot 1200 different "personalities"; he could be a whole party, plus the DM). Soooo....geth

Favorite: Asari, they are about what humans aspire to be spiritually and socially (in the star trek sense) and at the same time much like humans they have some REALLY REALLY messed up Darwinist in their midst

Least Favorite: Batareans. An entire race of racist, opportunistic terrorist. The only think keeping me from calling the ACLU on Bioware is the fact they have a definite 'European/western culture and they are not religious zealots.
Being a Muslim myself, I am glad they did not go with the jihad, in space theme at least. Its all about power and money to the Baterians.

Quarians are probably my favorite. They seem the most interesting to me, with the whole backstory with the Geth and their homeworld and their suits. I also really like Turians, Krogan... and well, everyone really. The Reapers and Collectors were pretty cool too. There isn't really anyone I hate... if I had to pick a least favorite, it'd probably be the Raloi.



Which is kinda cheap, but I know nothing of them but the name...

I gotta laugh at all the people who hate the Asari just because they're fanservice.  That's essentially saying: "I don't like them because other people like them!" or "I don't like them because I'm supposed to like them!"  It's juvenile, really.  Are the Asari any more fanservicy than the Drell or the Quarians?

Anyway, my favorite is probably either the Turians or the Salarians, simply because they strike me as the most realistic biologically and ideologically.

Least favorite has to be the Vorcha.  There's no real depth to them, it's like they are meant to be cannon fodder and nothing more.  We already have mechs for that.

asari: i like women, the color blue, and magic like powers. put them together and its all good.
turian/krogan: both give the same feel to me. one just is more serious and the other gives the "eh...f it" attitude.

yahg: scary teeth vagina mouth
drell: didnt really care for their story mostly. 
quarians: i dont remember any convo with any quarian that didnt end up being about geth, ai, their immune systems, or something along those lines.
batarians: basically it feels like there is only one batarian in  the universe and i just keep running into him

anything else i dont really care one way or another

What about the two on the Citadel in ME2? One's being accused of theft and the other is being sold as an indentured servant.

I agree completely.... The Turians are the most epic race in The Mass Effect series... :happy:

While The Batarians are the most pointless and most annoying race ever...

That would just be another reason to dislike them though: because of the way they're forced on you.  Like I said I don't hate any species, but Asari are one of my least favorite, just because they don't seem very interesting and yes, the way they're forced everywhere on the player.  I don't really see how Quarians or Drell are fanservice?
