Yes, despite the first patch, the New Game + still doesn't work. We don't have our heavy weapons, our armors, our choice of the collector's vessel ....

YOU CAN PUT TROPHIES FOR A  DLC IN YOUR PATCH, BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE A GAME THAT WORKS !

I've paid 65 euros for the game, and I still can't play a New Game +, and that, after more than one month.

I'm a bit dissapointed, undersand me.

Calm down. The NG+ fix was never going to be in this patch. Read the patch notes from a month ago; it was never included.



So NG+ "still" doesn't work because it wasn't supposed to be fixed in this patch.

No offense man but it didn't mention anything in the patch notes that said that they would fix the New Game+ glitch I know it sucks but you should be glad that you guys have the patch considering the US hasn't gotten it yet.

Sorry, I am a bit angry, but this can't be so hard to fix, isn't it ? And they put trophies for a DLC in their patch, instead a correction for the things that are already on the Bluray. It's like a provocation

Its true that NG+ bug wasnt in the notes, but its true that he paid 65 euros for a product, that was supposed to be top quality, and it apperently wasnt. I have no idea how that bug was overlooked. This entire experience will definetly make me think twice before ever buying another Bioware game, no matter how amazing their games are

LOL how can you guys think its ok for the NG glitch to not be fixed just because its not on the notes, it is an obvious glitch that happens to every single copy of the game, or Biowares words "it takes a long time because we have to play the whole game". How many times would you guys have beaten the game by now if it was your actual job? huh?.

TC is absolutely right to be pissed after spending so much money.

Oh and this new patch btw has yet new glitches.

so far conversations skip as if you skipped them except they do it by themselves and its only been out for a few hours in europe.

This forum is pathetic. This new patch fixed a game breaking save corruption problem. I'd rather have a couple lines of skipped dialog than worrying that my saves might get deleted. New Game + glitch is a very small problem in the big scheme of things. The game can still be played fine and you shouldn't be so angry over something so dumb. You people have serious entitlement issues. Seriously, you're mad that the product you paid 65 euros for has such a small problem? The one guy further up seems to think that the new game + glitch makes the game not worth buying! What the hell?!

Hey, I don't know if its the patch thats causing this but sometimes when I load up a certain part of the game (You get like an animation of the Normandy) All the graphics go weird, everything turns to white and you can see all the geometry lines, its really hard to explain, but basically all the graphics are messed up. Its only happened a few times to me throughout my new game + playthrough and I just go to the main menu and load up my last save and its fixed. But it gets annoying having to do quit to the main menu everytime this happens and to redo everything all over again. If anyone else has had this problem please tell me. K, thanks

Woops! Sorry, its my female shep playthrough thats doing this to me, I havnt started a new game+ playthrough because of the reason at the top of the page

While I do agree that the save game corruption is a big bug that needed to be dealt with quickly, to say that it's no big deal to have dialog skipping on you is completely false. ME2 is a very story driven game. Being able to listen to all the dialog is just as important, especially if you're playing thegame for the first time. Hell, I can argue that it's not worth installing this patch, and that it would be better to turn off the auto-save and just back up your files after every playthrough. The dialog is that important.

The NG+ glitch, while annoying, is not game breaking. I would like to go back and play my original character in a second playthrough, but I'm not losing any sleep over not being able to play him in a NG+.

They didn't play test, or the play testers just wrote As across the board to get a quick buck

Considering most dialogue situations give either Paragon/Renagade points, them being skipped could seriously hinder your ability to get the perfect ending.

Also, the advertised features of a game make it worth playing; i.e. the writing and story. The fact that those are being skipped takes a huge chunk out of the experience.

Then there is this NG+ glitch. Why shouldn't people complain that their perk for beating the game is not working? Every other version has this, and PS3 owners are being screwed by these bugs, left and right.

I just want to know why Bioware would release an unfinished product, since it's obvious that there were so many bugs and problems on day one. They need to get their act together, and stop waiting for people to buy the game so they can "fix" it for them.

It's like selling someone a Sports car, and when he gets it, he finds it lacks breaks, a window wiper, and air conditioning. Then that salemen tells him; "Oh don't worry, I'll have that fixed in a month, buhbye!" <_<

 What is with you people and New Game+? I went ahead and played insanity with this option. Its an extra challenge that I found to be rather fun! Agghhh don't flame me!!!!!!

sorry, but I have to mention something.

Some players aren't even ABLE to beat the game on instanity difficulty, the game glitches out and switches the difficulty, resulting in players not getting the trophy/achievement.
