One patch, and still a BIG problem ... too sad.

you mean you're suppose to retain everything when starting a new game?
did bioware confirm it's a bug and not a feature?

What are you retaining which you don't think you should?
AFAIK all NG+ lets you keep is your level and weapons; all research and paragon/renegade points are gone.

What is with you people and New Game+? I went ahead and played insanity with this option. Its an extra challenge that I found to be rather fun! Agghhh don't flame me!!!!!!
sorry, but I have to mention something.
Some players aren't even ABLE to beat the game on instanity difficulty, the game glitches out and switches the difficulty, resulting in players not getting the trophy/achievement.
First of all, if these players aren't able to beat the game on insanity then carrying over for the weapons/armor will not save them. Not to mention they shouldn't even be importing the save since the diffcultiy scales higher at the start of the game. Not having your weapons/armor carry over when you import a save is quite marginal. Quit your ****ing.

You don't retain research upgrades sorry to say, also you dont retain Paragon/Renegade points. All you retain when you import a save are: Levels/Skill Points/Weapons/Armor

Top Quality? You honestly think that a company owned by EA is worried about making their game top quality? It probably would have worked great if they were still independent but as soon as EA bought them any hopes of ever getting another AAA title from them went down the drain.Beezlebubz wrote...

Calm down. The NG+ fix was never going to be in this patch. Read the patch notes from a month ago; it was never included.
So NG+ "still" doesn't work because it wasn't supposed to be fixed in this patch.
Its true that NG+ bug wasnt in the notes, but its true that he paid 65 euros for a product, that was supposed to be top quality, and it apperently wasnt. I have no idea how that bug was overlooked. This entire experience will definetly make me think twice before ever buying another Bioware game, no matter how amazing their games are
