First post, PhrosniteAgainROFL brought up TW2 will have more (not any but more) clipping issues due to the introduction of proper loot.

First thought reading this post "Hmmm, that's not true", so I posted why PhrosniteAgainROFL was false in this statement.

Nah, it was an internal gamplay video.  And not just one video either..  Not to mention, the screen shots in this very thread have clipping in them.

I suppose there is very minor clipping, but it is barely noticable.  I coule only notice if I looked very closely.

Also why are you so offended by people comparing DA2 to other games?  If another developer is doing something better then what harm is there in criticism?  If we don't make suggestions then how the hell is Bioware going to improve their games?  We arent here to pander to them and suck up.  We are here to discuss video games.

Anyone realize that if you move the weapons closer that any enchantments might go through the armor???? and im pretty sure it is an issue of whether or not to have floating or clipping...

And to address those that might be calling bioware lazy....do you have any proof that they were just sitting around screwing off and decided to just not do it?????



Also one of the tradeoffs for having more variables is the greater risk for mistakes... They chose to lessen the mistakes of clipping due to having more variants of weapons and armor (that im sure the forums were crying for) by having it be off there back a greater distance.....and to have it come out on March 8.

It's the telekinetic bows and arrows that get me... the biggest problem i had with the floating weapons was when you equipped greatswords on female characters (human, elf... dwarf didn't matter) and the swords would clip the legs, not by a little bit... just cuts through the entire leg and hangs well below it. Why didn't the male run animations have this issue?

It's funny how people are always shouting down the "Witcher fanboys" to stop "bringing up their crap on the BW forum" when most of the Witcher/Dragon Age arguments I've seen started because some guy made a comparison to the two that was relevant to the conversation, and then the entire thread derails because of BioWare fans shouting him down as a troll and throwing out evidence as to why The Witcher is an inferior game.

It's because on TW2 forums we are very civil, and don't go on zealous crusade whenver somebody criticizes our game, unlike you people on DA2 forums whenever someone (I) criticize the game or don't like how it's going in its current direction you take it up as a Templar Quest as if you were back during the Crusades.

Because TW2 got it right, and we want people to know it's doable, a company the size of Bioware shouldn't have a problem doing it.... didn't you ever see a comparison betwenn COD and Medal of Honor or Battlefield? have you never drawn a comparison between NFS and Gran Turismo? you're not thinking straight... whatever you're drinking I want some.
