>>Go read the books then. Don't play such a janky game. Also I was on board with the story until they added "time travel". I'm not crying. I'm laughing at the witcher fanboys. Bioware games rate higher and sell more. What more would I want?
So you didn't like the game? Big deal? I liked both DA:O and the Witcher - I look forward to both sequels for different reasons. (I already know I like Geralt, I hope to get invested in Hawke as well) Does it have to be a pissing contest? There were, for those who enjoyed it, some very valid reasons to like the Witcher ... but just as you won't like all the books or movies I enjoy, you shouldn't expect we'll like the same games; that doesn't make yours or mine inferior. (well, yours maybe

) Obviously I saw things in it you didn't ... had patience for it where you did not.
Oh, and the reason to buy the parry arrow skill? It allows you to ... parry arrows. Seriously, helps out a lot against archers in the last act. (Geralt could also do it in the books - just to draw some parallels to the fiction - and it is rather amusing to see the bandits about pee themselves the first time he does it, makes you appreciate just how scary a person people see Geralt to be ... seriously, how many people do you know who could parry an arrow in flight? He really has some of that epic sword and sorcery "hero" feel to him.)
