Hey folks. I'm working on a module in which transitions between day and nighttime for plot reasons would be great. But as of yet I have not found a way to change or query what time it is in the toolset? I have found vague stuff like "conversation lines that change depending on the time of day" on the builder wiki but not much more.
Is there an option? Any answer will be appreciated, even a strict NO ;D

Short answer - Yes! Err.. long answer - you will need to create a clock script that uses the game heartbeat. Assign your gameplay times, then calculate game time. We have a game clock in BG2Redux... but dont have the scripts handy.

Bearing in mind that lighting is baked, you might need day and night versions of the area, with different level art.
That might require a lot of scripting, to decide which area to enter based on time of day, and to keep the resources in the two areas consistent.
