Unless DX11 was activated I would expect little difference.

... Hawke has some really gaunt cheeks. Does anyone know if beards still makes your character look emaciated?

I find the changes much better. OMG the beard looks like one and not a like a dead animal attached to his face~

The second screenshot has a bit of a more 'comic-ey' feel to it due to the layer they put over it (like the blurred out background). Other than that, the second one is far better and realistic when it comes to proportions and hair color.

I like the second Bethany a lot more, but I think the new male Hawke looks really skinny and odd. The eyes are especially weird. They're almost a yellow color.

I like the skinnier new Hawke, but I agree that the eyes are a weird color. Old Bethany's eyes are hella weirder, though.

You know, it's funny--I thought the original build of Hawke was kind of attractive, and as time progressed and more screenshots were released, I started to think he was ugly. I didn't realize they had changed his face.

I just like the first Bethany better, maybe I am too used to wide screen looks. xD But I prefer the look of the hair in the second one... doesn't look like Mass Effect fake. I do like the second default Male Hawke though.

I happen to like the second picture much better. It doesn't matter anyway, Hawke can be customized.

Also, I like the old blood smear better. I hate the blood smear as a general rule, but the first one looks more gritty.

Regardless, Bethany is still pretty. By cons is really too bad we can not change her hair color and eyes.

There's no alteration in "skinniness", the first image is just squished. Look at the dialogue circle, it's wider than it is tall.
