I just thought it would be interesting to ask if your Shepard could describe certain characters in as few as words (a sentence can suffice as well) as possible what would they be.  For example, here is how my Shepard would respond to these characters (this is not me per se saying this)

Miranda: Determined and goal-oriented
Jack: A very lonely young woman
Mordin: Eccentric in a very comical way
Zaeed: arbitrarily callous and reckless
Tali: Plucky
Jacob: Sane
Kasumi: A mysterious woman with a very vivacious personality
Garrus: One of the coolest people I've ever met
Thane: Mild-mannered
Samara: hypocritically but fundamentally principled
Legion: a talking trophy bot
Grunt: a fighting machine
Illusive Man: Even though I don't like him and that I'm always at odds with him, he is quite an intelligent individual.
Anderson: a father figure
Udina: someone who can't be trusted
Liara: A sweetheart
Wrex: Tough SOB

Miranda: I don't trust her. Who tells someone that they wanted to implant a control chip in their brain? Really?
Jack: We get along well enough on the battlefield. Not exactly someone I can talk to though.
Mordin: This guy is hilarious. And brilliant. Glad to have him around.
Zaeed: He's like a crazy awesome uncle who agrees with me about everything.
Tali: An old friend, but I worry about her hate for Cerberus. I like working with TIM.
Jacob: Well, he seems like a nice guy, but whenever I talk to him, it feels like Harbinger assumed direct control.
Kasumi: My newest friend.
Garrus: Another old friend. One of the few people on this ship that I can trust completely.
Thane: We get along all right, but we disagree about a lot of things.
Samara: I can't stand the Code. She'll probably try to kill me later.
Legion: A robot fanboy? That's... kind of adorable, actually.
Grunt: He's like a destructive little brother. Just bring him to the battlefield and point the way.
Illusive Man: I like working with him. Better than the Alliance and Council, by far. We've helped each other a lot.

Liara: I'm glad she brought me to Cerberus, but I don't like her. I never have.

Ashley: I never liked her either. That wasn't the reason for my choice on Virmire, but I don't miss her.
Kaidan: He used to be a friend. Not after he betrayed me.
Joker: It was nice to see a familiar face, and he's the best pilot I could ask for... but he did get me killed.
Chakwas: Best doctor I could ask for, and another familiar face.
Kelly: I don't want her on my ship.

Miranda: ****y and cold on the outside.  Fearful and hurting on the inside.  Not really the cold **** she seems to be at first.

Jack: Damaged, lonely, angry.  I pity her and want to help her.  I can't.  Crazy as hell and just as dangerous.

Mordin: Likeable, funny, super intelligent, and a stone cold killer when he needs to be.  As he says, he's a Salarian...they never see him coming.

Zaeed: Bitter, and damaged inside.  Still fundamentally a good man, but let's his bitterness and anger take over too often.

Tali: Smart, loyal friend.  A bit emotionally vulnerable.  I find myself wanting to protect her.

Jacob: A bro and a good man.  Has his head on straight.  Able to do the job needing to be done without drinking the Cerberus kool aid.  Has good moral clarity....never loses sight of right and wrong.

Garrus: A bro who has seen more than one man should.  Utterly dependable, and a better friend than my Shepard deserves.

Thane: Deeply philosophical.  Understands the ugliness of war but also understands it's necessity.

Samara: Much like Thane.  Very wise, keeps to her principles no matter the cost.  Quickly becoming a mother figure for my Shepard, whose parents are dead.

Wrex: every bit as badass as he acts, but wants something other than war and living in squalor for his people.

Liara: Wise, yet innocent.  Pure of heart.  Sweet.  Like Tali, I find myself wanting protect her from everything bad in the world.  Far stronger than she appears at first glance, however, and can throw down with the best of them.  She's an iron fist wearing a velvet glove.  She's the bright light shining in the darkness, and stands to remind my Shepard just what it is he's fighting for.

Ashley: good troop.  Sticks to her faith and principles.  Glad she's on our side.

Kaiden: Smart guy, able to read between the lines and intuitively and bring up things you might otherwise miss.

That fits too, initially I didn't like Liara as a character but she really comes into her own in 2 and the DLC.
