I have been trying over and over and over and over again to download shale and wardens keep... in fact all my extra content was a pain to download... they kept freezing or not showing up or any number of problems... somehow i managed to get everything but wardens and shale to download... but they are starting to ****** me off ... i normally am pretty mellow but the fricken glitches with the downloader is a pain... i have sent quite a few emails to ea for help and when i try live support it never connects me to anyone... someone please help cause this is driving me nuts !!!

i had the same issue. go to the downloadable content screen, then go to downloads. does it show the version as 1 and it is in red?  if so, then you have the same problem i did.  you have to download version 1.01a, then apply the fix that is linked in a sticky on the top of this forumn so the play button works. after that they both installed fine for me. hope this helps

yeah the version number is in red   but also they download part way then freeze at exactly 35%  but ill give what ya said a try  what exact fix were u talking about though?

and uh... where is the 1.01a located at? the only patch i can find is the plain 1.01

i just realized i already had the 1.01a patch so does that mean it wont fix it?

i was not trying to bump three times in one hour... those other messages were hopefully for the guy that was giving me advice on how to fix my problem

there are a variety of fixes available for freezing downloads in the DLC FAQ Sticky at the top of the forum...

Look into the stickied posts; in one of them you can find the solution to your problem there.

Tip; look into the Log directory and read the log. Maybe it can explain what the trouble is like;
