I don't know what bugs were introduced because I live in the US.

So you don't want them to fix the NG+ glitch?

Frankly, I don't care. I've never tried NG+ because I would rather play new classes and start fresh.

Now that's what I call "The patch was worth the wait."

Well now that the patch is released in the UK, I figured Id start this thread so that anyone can report any new bugs the patch gave them, just in case.

The concept of a patch ADDING bugs absolutely blows my mind.

Have only played one mission and quit after it occurred multiple times during the same conversation (I reloaded the mission to check if it might have been incidental but it occurred at the exact same moments, this was in during the Thane loyalty mission) Missing chunks of a conversation kills the immersion for me so I quit for the night.
In my case the patch definately had a negative impact, as I hadn't experienced any issues beforehand.

I live in Germany and downloaded the patch yesterday. I didn't had any problems with the game. At least no freezing or corrupted savegames. As I said I installed the patch yesterday and played the Overlord mission. Guess what happend as soon as I encountered the first Geth the game froze.
Now that's what I call "The patch was worth the wait."
Could it be the fact that Overlord is one of the included DLC that the patch does not help with that and only in the main part of the game.

If the problem is within the Overlord DLC code (probably is) then yes, the Overlord DLC itself will need an update. DLC's like Witch Hunt for Dragon Age Origins had a patch for the DLC itself and seperate from the main game patch.

Game development is very fickle. Adding a single new line of code could potentially screw up tons of other things in the game. Even making this new patch was probably hard work as they had to make sure the new code didn't interfere with anything else already in the game.Deepthroat wrote...

I doubt whatever clients you have at your job will justify your mistakes even after paying good money for whatever you or your company do and if they did then what incentive would you have not to make a mistake again? or to improve.

wat? My post was unbiased truth.xvynx wrote...
then again they didnt did they? i understand your need to justify, really i do but your beloved company will improve a lot more from objective judgment or whining if you wish, blind fanboyism means more money and less quality, look what it has done to the COD series.

I think it should be okay to post spoilers. Could you say exactly which cutscenes were skipped? If BIoware is gonna work on another patch, this is information they need to have.

Hey, I don't know if its the patch thats causing this but sometimes when I load up a certain part of the game (You get like an animation of the Normandy) All the graphics go weird, everything turns to white and you can see all the geometry lines, its really hard to explain, but basically all the graphics are messed up. Its only happened a few times to me throughout my female shep playthrough and I just go to the main menu and load up my last save and its fixed. But it gets annoying having to do quit to the main menu everytime this happens and to redo everything all over again. If anyone else has had this problem please tell me. K, thanks

Could you tell us if it still happens to you when you try the mission again? This could be major since something like that is totally a game breaker for this type of game.
Oh and to repeat what Rockpopple said, please post the exact conversations where this would happen. This could also help to see if any others are having the same glitch at the same place
