I've encountered several bugs but Ill just list the ones I've seen more than once:

-Shepard standing up and stumbling backwards for no reason while behind low cover. (got me killed more than once)
-Characters/Shepard walking in mid-air and phasing through solid objects
-Audio cutting in and out. Characters not finishing their dialogue before being cut off. Galaxy map becoming silent. (usually happens when docked at Omega)
-The Firewalker mission at the volcano lab always rainbow glitches when you try to leave the lab in the Hammerhead. Also, I almost always blow up for no reason once it glitches.
-In Overlord, there are several places where you can fall into the earth and go through walls. I got stuck falling into the earth once and had to reset.
-Before the romance scene with Jack, she disappeared from view in mid conversation. Same thing happened to Shepard before Jacob's scene.
-Freezing at various spots. (happened 3 times before talking to the Illusive Man prior to the Omega 4 mission.) The music played but the screen was black.
-Teammates freezing or getting stuck and stopped following commands

These glitches arent gamebreakers just annoyances. ME2 is still one of my favorite games ever. I just hope they clean it up especially by the time ME3 comes out.

this pretty much sums up everything i''ve encountered. thank you.

don't forget the freezing. i feel that has to be fixed as well. i've encountered it numerous times, and it kinda annoys me. i can imagine it does for anyone else.

For me the sound as a whole is the biggest problem of the PS3 version. Dialogue getting cut off in conversations, even the slightest SFX being out of sync in cutscenes, no BGM on the galaxy map occasionally and other minor sound issues throughout (crackling noise on the party select screen prior to a mission, etc.)

Also when landing on Tuchanka I get zero sound effects of the shuttle landing and the crew coming out, just the standard 'world ambience' track in the background. Doesn't seem right.

SPOILER: Apart from that I've encountered: freezing (2x - 1x during conversation, 1x during combat), NPC disappearing during conversation (1x - Wrex), party member getting stuck during mission (1x), Liara's assistant sitting in midair in Liara's office after conversation with Liara, instead of sitting behind her desk outside, Shepard getting stuck on a low wall during a mission and not being able to climb down.

I've also encountered the 'Packages for Ish' quest bug (social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/888625/1). Can't believe such a minor yet annoying bug never got fixed and was directly imported into the PS3 version...

I am experiencing freezing on boot screen 2 out of 3 times. This happened once pre-patch and lost my save. In the 10th time this happened my saves got corrupted (surprise surprise)!
Also since the patch I am experiencing horrible freezes in most dialogs and whenever I access the upgrade terminal!

Oh yeah when I was playing a mission which I was supposed to recover something from a space ship. I finished the mission the item was there and it said press x to recover and press o to finish mission none of the buttons was doing anything. While I was walking around the map the press o to finish popped up again and this time it worked! Also had an eclipse soldier freeze midair after got stuck in a door.

Rainbow bug happened to me in the Normandy main deck.

Audio being cut, i.e. some characters lines are not completed.

One (over 40hrs) incident of freezing.

Slow down (extreme!) during a mission on found by scanning. I believe it was the one in the blue son's base, Either that or one that investigates a ship.

Other than that the game was smooth. I tend to play lengthy hours consecutively and jump between planets a lot.

I found that while you cant transfer ALL of your equipment, it will let you transfer whatever armor Shepard was wearing when you import him for NG+. Made the mistake of wearing my Terminos armor the first time, thats what I started with on NG+ this time I'll have my custom setup.

The two main issues I'm having at this time are dialog getting cut off, and upgrades not being usable. I have over 100K of every mineral, yet when I buy upgrades they wont always let me research them. 5/5 Assuilt riffle and 5/5 biotics, along with 5/5 tech just wont research. If it helps, I'm playing as an Infultrator, lvl 30 and am on my second playthrough with disc version.

Another issue is Zaeed, he seems to get stuck whenever I take him on a mission with Garrus. If they are using the same class of weapon its almost certian to happen. He just gets suck, not behind anything just stands in the middle of a room or hallway.

Today when I was playing the horizon mission speech cut. It was extremely minor though.<br />
(SPOILERS) Once the collector ship retreated after the boss fight with the praetorian, Grunt said something like "We have defeated them, but they still got what they came for". It cut half way through that. Then again, my game did this before the patch but it was very rare. Im hoping this was one of those rare times. <br />

Other than that, the patch hasn't made my game any buggier<br />



It'd be one heck of a coincidence if so - the system started to do this only after downloading that patch...!

 My game ran fine before the patch, but I decided to play it safe then started a new character after I had the patch.

So...I know I downloaded the comic because having not played ME1 at the time I had no idea what I was doing and made choices I didn't like anymore (Wrex, Council) and decided to start over. But now the game just starts up like I never had it, gives me Liara as default LI for both genders plus the horrible (imo) default choices my Shep would never make. It's annoying because the game ran smoothly without any glitches before the patch. Now the loading screen lags and my Genesis comic has gone poof! :?

I had a lot of problems post-patch, but most of them were resolved by playing the game without being connected to the internet. Maybe the way the game communicates with EA's servers are messing things up. After I disconnected it played much smoother. I still had some of the glitches you guys are posting, but I was experiencing those pre-patch and were well used to them by then.

Just to add, another incident of freezing in Omega at the beginning of recruiting Mordin. As the turians pop-up from behind cover game freeze.

This is my second playthrough and my Insanity run...

I don't know if this glitches have appeared after the patch or they were already there but anyway this is what I've seen in my two playthroughts and these glitches have always happened in both of them and never have happened in one but not in the other. Most of them are during cutscenes:

-On freedom's progress in the video were the heavy mech kills those quarians the audio is not syncronized with the video.
-In Jack's recruitment mission when you confront the blue suns leader and when Jack kills two guards the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices.
-In Jack's loyalty mission when she uses her biotics against the mad man who wanted to reopen the facility the audio is not syncronized with the video, after that in the cutscene when she is going to press the detonator to blow the facility the audio is not syncronized with the video.
-In archangel recruitment mission when you get to the blue suns leader his head partially disappears during some seconds, then when you get to were archangel is there is a video were he shoots a merc with his sniper rifle, again the audio is not syncronized with the video, some time after when that helicopter or watever it is shoots archangel the audio is not syncronized except the voices again.
-In archangel's loyalty mission when he is taking position to shoot Sidonis the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices.
-In Miranda's loyalty mission just when you start it you confront an eclipse guy and his troop, when you use the renegade interrupt to broke his neck and make a tank fall just above some mercs shepard just dissapears during all the cutscene, something that has incredibly pissed me off in my two playthroughts because I've seen that cutscene in youtube and is awesome and in my ps3 its just ratty.
-In samara recruitment mission when she is interrogating a merc and ends up killing her all the audio in the cutscene is not syncronized with the video, after that when you confront the blue suns leader at the end of the mission all the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices again.
-In Samara loyalty mission when she confronts Morinth in her apartment all the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices.
-In Thane recruitment mission when he kills Nassana and her mercs all the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices.
-In Thane's loyalty mission when his son shoots a bodyguard the audio is not syncronized tith the video except the voices.
-In Zaeed's loyalty mission when he meets Vido the audio is not syncronized with the video, after that in the cutscene where Vido escapes the audio is not syncronized with the video.
-In Kasumi's loyalty mission when she disables Hock's shields the audio is not syncronized with the video.
-In Haestroom when you recruit Tali in the cutscene a giant geth shoots at you the audio is not syncronized with the video.
-In most of the cutscenes of the Firewalker missions when you land on the planets or return to the normandy the audio is not syncronized with the video.
-In Ovelord when you travel throught the different bases the landscape is pixelated.
-In the Shadow broker missions when you meet Vasir in Liara's apartment the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices this happens also when you discover Vasir's betrayal and when Vasir crashes after the chase.
-In the cutscene where the collectors attack Horizon and the seeker swarms paralize the people the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices, after that in the cutscene where some collectors appear and Harbinger assumes control of one of them the collectors dissapear the first seconds of the intro when they are landing, also when you are talking in game with your squad members after fighting the first husks some of the last phrases you say are unfinished.
-When Shepard and his team leave the normandy and the collectors attack by surprise the ship the music is not syncronized with the video, this also happens at the end of the suicide mission, when shepard watches the space and then hundreds of reapers are seen travelling to the milky way.
-In the derelict reaper when you meet legion for the first time and he shoots some husks with his sniper rifle the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices, after that when you abandon the derelict reaper with legion the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices.
-In the suicide mission in some of the cutscenes where the ship is going to the collector's base the audio is not syncronized with the video except the voices, then when you rescue the Normandy crew and get them out of those pods the audio is not syncronized with the video.
-If you start a NG+ playthrought you don't have the weapons and armor you had when you ended the game.

Can a dev please tell me if other patches are gonna be available, or we will only have the patch that was already released.

Well I managed to get a good 6 hours of game play this weekend, and I noticed that the dialogue is skipping. A lot. It also seems to happen randomly since during one conversation there was some skipping, and when I reloaded the save and replayed that scene there was no skipping.

This really needs to get fixed, this is really breaking immersion. All I can say is thank god for subtitles.

Dear Jesse, I just started a playthrough with a pad n pen next to me, found a lot of things I'd like to report, so if possible I'd like to list them into a well organised text pad doc for you, is there a place to forward the feedback to or should I just post a link? Also I have encountered a large number of low res or blurry/muddy textures should these be posted too?

I haven't played ME2 since the game froze on me and I lost all my progress and ****. I don't know if the patch is out in Canada yet. I haven't been keeping up to date with this site lol. I definitely want to play this game again since I loved ME1 when I had my 360.

Anyways when I did play ME2 on PS3, I noticed in certain missions and at certain times, the audio and video were out of sync. Like when you go to the Krogan homeworld to recruit...the Krogan whose name I can't remember (yeah its been a while since ive played it lol)...there was a cutscene where the audio was definitely out of sync with the video.

I don't know what methods Bioware employs when it comes to QA but its as if they don't bother testing after they release a patch (not saying thats what it is). Im sure they have deadlines to meet and other games they work on and maybe not enough manpower.

I did software testing for a few months for a mortgage company. I got to see how frustrating it is for developers to patch something and fix bugs, only for us testers (5-6 of us) to find new bugs or find that the bug we were testing to see if it has been fixed....wasn't actually fixed. Its a tough process and even tougher when there aren't many people working on it and there are deadlines. And when there are deadlines, sometimes things do get overlooked. 

Im no expert in testing. I only did it for a few months and for one company. Gaming companies might have completely different methods for all I know.

When you buying an upgrades there's no need to research them, because you spend the money for them, other words you research only those you found on missions, those you bought already researched. I don't know why so many people don't know so obvius things:blink:

Actually that isn't true viralGoD, some of the items u buy are armour parts that are immediately available in captains quarters, while others are in fact weapon armour or ship upgrades u need to research to use, u find most in missions but there are a fair amount need to purchase on various planets.

F!"ck, are you an idiot? I know about armour parts and I wasn't talking about them, if I would I will say armour parts, but not upgrades:pinched:. Sorry, but reading your comment  not only nerves me but also offends because I played ME2 so many times that I KNOW what I'm talking about, :pinched:f"·k.
!!!! I say the last time, those upgrades you buying in shop you will have them without reseaching :ph34r:!!!!!
Sorry for being rude, I don't know what version of Mass Effect 2 do you have, but in my ps3 it works in that way and also on my PC and on my broken Xbox 360.

My main concern for now is the out of sync audio.

During cutscenes the sound is delayed.. Can you please fix this Bioware? Or at least have a look at it! There are a few threads about this problem =)

The main things I have noticed post patch are peoples speech getting cut during cutscenes/ dialogue sequences. I've also noticed out of sync audio on a few occasions, this normally happens during cutscenes too.
