Is hawkes appearence customizable? or is the face and body type we see in the trailers to only option...

Hawke can be male or female, and you can fully customize their looks. Except for the default Hawkes.

Yes. Both male and female versions of Hawke can be customized after the exaggerated fight right at the beginning of the game.

same as shepard in ME, default faces can't be changed, but there is a full range of customization to make your own face
