1) Better N7 Missions
ME1 had really boring side missions. ME2 had okay side missions. Keep in mind, when I say side missions, I'm not including Loyalty Missions. ME2 had about 20 or so side missions. None of these were easily accessible. Basically, all the ME2 N7 Missions were found through planet mining, which to most is a major turn off. Even if you liked planet mining (such as me), the side missions had barely any story and were short and dull. Bioware, I would be happy with the N7 Missions in ME3 if they were good. I would even be fine with only 10 missions. This is an area of ME2 that needs serious improvement.
2) Cooperative Mode
If there is any sort of multiplayer in ME3, it should be coop oriented. Something akin to Halo: Reach's Firefight or Black Ops' Zombies, but with its own feel. A cooperative campaign would be nice to (TEAM OF SPECTERS. YEAH!) I hope if there is any sort of multiplayer that it should have serious thought put into it. I would rather have no multiplayer in ME3, than have some maps and game modes thrown in a few months before launch.
3) A Good Story/Gameplay Link
Somebody had a post recently relating to this. ME2 suffered this issue and I hope it changes in ME3. If you killed Wrex on Virmire or let the Council die, did you expect something aside from some dialogue options in ME2? I did. I wish that the link between the Story RPG and the Gameplay RPG were better. If I make a decision in the story, I want it to impact gameplay as well. The only scenario in ME2 that was like this was the Morinth/Samara decision. If I save the Collector Base at the end of ME2, I want ME3 to give me one or two Collector weapons and a Cerberus weapon. You see what I mean?
Thanks! Please post your own lists too!
