During the romance with Liara, and right before their love scene before Ilos, there is a dialogue the player could choose a dialogue before accepting Liara's "joining"

Shepard's response is "Just tell me what to do". As if he's never experienced this before.. Of course this is an option for players to make.

I assumed that he had never bonded with an Asari in that way. It is possible that the Commander was a virgin but I don't really see that as evidence.

A virgin, and had never had sex ed, nor read or watched any porn, or been taken out to a brotherl/strip club by other memebers of his unit. Doubtful.

Shepard never talks about any "experiences" before ME1...so I suppose you could go ahead and imagine that he's a virgin without contradicting the character.

And Greybox...that question makes me wonder if you have even played the games.

It is merely that Shepard has not experienced asari sex before. It is possible however under certain condition but doubtful that Shepard is actually virgin until ME1. Especially under the Earth-born background. Maybe a female colonist Shepard but still unlikely to me.

Unless training in the alliance included many up to no good. =P

If your shep is like... purely paragon... or something like that.
Better put... more like joker was when he trained.
shepards time wouldnt include anything like that (as much as joker's didnt)

thusfar there has been no confirmation or denial of previous 'love interests' before ME1, so if you want to roleplay Shep as a virgin you can. if you'd rather Shep be a complete and utter ****/man**** you can. if you'd rather be somewhere between, you can do that too

I doubt that will change, BioWare seem uninterested in exploring more of Sheps past than we saw in ME1 and prefer to leave it to us to imagine our own (which is not a bad thing)

I doubt it, the way Shepard smooth talks his/her way to get into 'nice relations' means that Shepard is a professional.

Shepard could be anything you want him/her to be. Virgin, Mormon, illiterate (ok maybe not illiterate), schizophrenic etc. Shepard is a blank slate, his/her past kept intentionally vague so you can fill in the blanks however you like. So yes Shepard could be a virgin; Shepard could also be into the triple digits as well if you so choose.

My Shepard isn't a virgin. I also don't think Joker or Kaidan are virgins either. Liara and Tali are the only ones in the ME universe I believe are virgins. You can roleplay it however you want though unless a character comes out and clearly says otherwise.

Pretty sure my war hero spacer shep could pick up any woman he wants on Elysium after he, you know, saved the damn colony singlehandedly. Pretty sure he got a lot of "thank-god-we're-alive-sex" offers right after. Whether he accepted it or not.... that's really up to us to decide
