Hey so a little while ago i got a virus from my online teacher and had to do a full scale hard drive wipe but I backed up my mass 2 saves and a few other files that have since been scanned for signs of the virus. I just installed Mass 2 the other day and now when I login to my EA account it says I have to purchase or redeem a cerberus code. Does this mean I need a whole new one, if so what happened to the one I had gotten when I got this at Christmas?
Why don't I have access to cerberus anymore

Sounds like something screwy has happened to your account. You will need to contact EA suppotr in regards to this, as these are just user to user tech support forums.
Also, please take the time to register the game on the forums. This is not an accusation, but given the spate of users with illegally downloaded copies coming to the forums asking for help, forum registration is the only way we can be sure we are dealing with a legit copy. Illegally downloaded copies include hacked and modified files which could be either corrupt, or full of malware. Once its registered, we will be happy to help. Forums Registration here;

well now I have egg on my face because I just found out I had actually added the cereberus code to a much older ea account I had forgotten about....so I actually have a new problem....trying to transfer my cerberus account onto this one......god I love viruses so much

Thtats too is something EA support can help you with. Use their live chat facility, and they should be able to fix it up for you fairly quick. By fairly quick I mean once you manage to get a rep through live chat. Sometimes its only a 5 minute queue, other times it could be up to an hour.
