What would happen if you romanced Ashley, then later in ME2, romanced Miranda? What about Kaiden and then Jacob? Or Garrus? Or Jack? Or Liara? Or Samara? All these possibilities.  Do you think they'd fight, just argue, or do you think it'll even happen? Post your own wants about what you want to happen, and even post what you think would happen.

I hope there is conflict, it would be gay if nothing happened between any of them. I mean YOU CHEATED ON THEM FOR HEAVENS SAKE! Though I guess it's not really cheating if they don't want anything to do with you but still you and your first LI had something, they can't just shake it off and pretend it never happened

If that were to happen, I don't think Shepard would be alive to finish the fight against the Reapers.  Miranda wouldn't want to Lazarus Shepard back from the dead, and I don't even want to know what Ash would do to Shep.  Scarry!!


I would really love to see Garrus and Kaiden duke it out, I have no idea how that would turn out.

Miranda would kick Ash's ass. With her mind. It's just truth.

Same way Kaidan would own Garrus with his biotics. Though tbh, I can't really imagine Garrus and Kaidan fighting. Kaidan seems to reasonable, and he himself says he was dating a doctor on Earth in his email, so he might be understanding anyway.

Thane vs Kaidan though...hmm. Both have biotics, but Thane is an uber 1337 assassin. Thane would probably win.

Kaidan vs Jacob, I'd imagine Kaidan has stronger biotic. Hopefully he'd smash Jacob's head into the bulkhead and rid us of him for good.

Yea, but it is to obvious what she is going to do in such a situation., she will go bezerk and biotics will fly everywhere. However you cant tell what cunning and horrible plan such minds like Miranda and Ashley's can think up.

What fight?

Ashley dumped Shepard and he moved on with Miranda. At least that is how it appeared in my game. Sure, she was all apoligies afterwards, in an email, when she realised she had made a blunder, but it was too late, too little at that point for my Shepard. He had expected a little more emotional backup from his girlfriend than a "Get lost!" when he finally met her after coming back which made him decide she wasn't worth it.

If, however, Shepard after this would start romancing Ashley again, I can see there would be issues, but those issues should be between Shepard and Miranda then. My Shepard has no intentions of doing so, however, sticking with Miranda since she hasn't given him "Get lost Jackass!" comment yet which Ashley more or less did...

I dont think its completley necessary for them to fight, depending on the characters at least. If Shepard is in love with Miranda now for example, then Ash throwing a temper tantrum about it wont change that, it would just make Shepard look down on her for it.



I think there should be an amount of tension included if the situation arises when a previous romance joins your team but for the most part little more than what there was with Liara in LOTSB. The only real exception could be romancing Ash on the first game & Jack on the second since both are generally hot headed I could see a fight breaking out there but otherwise just keep it in the dialouge & have Shepard make a choice.

I just don't consider having a romantic interest in ME2 cheating. They BOTH send you emails that sum up 'you and I have changed.' As a woman, I've used that line before (not sure what guys use), and it's definitely a break-up line right up there with 'it's not you, it's me.'

Kaidan's such a damn bleeding heart, he'd probably understand why I started dating Thane and probably give me a girlfriend talk about it.

With Garrus, I could throw it in his face that of my original team members, Garrus has followed me through hell and back because he trusts and respects me.

If Kaidan had been a supportive boyfriend, he'd have a REAL break-up talk and not some passive aggressive email. Sit down and talk like adults and hash it out, you know?

[I never romanced Jacob, so I'm not sure what his and FemShep's dynamic was. ]

Liara and Kaiden are the only to love interest that stand a chance Kaiden being a biotic Might have an advantage against Jacob and Garrus. but Ashley doesn't really stand a chance against Jack, Miranda, even Tali is a stretch.
