No, this is not a troll, this is a reaction to a 10th post today about people cant do the demo. Christ, its on normal aswell, what is wrong with you people.

3 hours downloading and it's 50% done. There has to be some sort of issue with my connection. The demo is 2gb but I downloaded some other demos that were 1gb a couple days back and they only took like 25-40 minutes.

Starting it right now, the art work bothers me, I mean in the opening. I dunno why it just screams EVIL!!!!!!!!! to me. And I feel the need to burn it.

how long did it take you to download the demo on xbox

i downloaded mine since 7:30 am and its still 30% and its like 9:52 here

is this because my connection suck or my xbox is just slow today?

Well as soon as I hit the A button and rushed off killing a few genlocks I litterally went O_O Holy ****! Combat is good, got to keep on your toes however. My only complaint so far is the small writing hope its bigger, I have a 36 inch TV so its not as I have a small TV, also the contrast is too dark, in main game options I will brighten it up, graphics look sweet though, and loved the warriors attacks so far, still playing. More praise or critisim later.

Distinctly underwhelmed. Will try the PC version later to see if that is an improvement.

My only real big issue is that I really can't see the captions and creature names and what not, which is hopefully something I can at least improve a bit in the real game, otherwise it was fun and interesting (although I about vomited when I saw "fight like a spartan" at the end)

I reckon I would have enjoyed it more If I was allowed to use the inventory, you pick up items but you can't use or even look at the stats for them, I don't see why that couldn't be included in the demo. Also sometimes my party wouldn't attack anything and just stood there, so I changed the tactics by adding 'Enemy>any>attack' which seemed to fix it.

Can't complain about the story or anything else, I just felt the combat was odd having spent so much time on the first Dragon Age, but I only played the PC version. I'm hoping the PC will be more reminiscent of the first.

There should be an option to turn it off in the full game for the consoles. (the auto-attack that is)

Edit: PC version of the demo comes with auto-attack on, correct? (Assuming you can turn it off for the PC)

I love the demo but I have one issue with it.....the text size. It is pretty much unreadable on my 68 cm flatscreen SD TV If the full game is like this, I might have to think about cancelling my signature edition pre-order This game has the smallest text I've seen in a game.

This game feels like it's made for mages. I played Male Hawke warrior, but I had much more fun playing with Bethany. I got to a point where I thought "**** warriors, I'm going mage on my first playthrough".

Which is kinda special, since I'm typically a warrior only guy.

Then I looked at the calendar and realized we're two weeks away from the full game. Now the demo makes me sad.

I adore RPG's but I suck really bad at them. And I mean REALLY bad (I'm not a tactical thinker lol) but I had no problem whatsoever with the demo. And I played through as a rogue and a mage. I don't understand the "difficulty" issue.

The person signed up today. I have my doubts they even played the demo. I'd just ignore it to be honest, as it'll drag the thread off-topic and into the realm of endless arguing.

Edit: And I'm really jealous of you folks.  I'm going to try and download the PC demo I reckon because the PS3 version isn't out till tomorrow. Hopefully, it'll be released on Steam though.

Was it just me or was it impossible not to die as a rogue unless you abused the "evade" skill? But yeah, I rogues so much.
