I am playing as a male mage, loving the exagerated part! Even though it is on xbox, I am enjoying the crap out of it! Will update as I play more.
Got the demo, first impressions.

Hey, I just finished the demo and am about to start a second playthrough. What stood out most to me are the characters. I love them already and I barely know them. MaleHawke's voice is much better than I thought it sounded in the footage previously released. I really like the graphics too, I wish we could see more of Kirkwall in the demo. I explored it as much as possible.

What scyphozoa said.
I'm like "Ohmygod this is great" staring at the game. Through the entire playthrough.

It is incredibly awesome, if short. Even with investigating every dialogue and two ogre battles, there's really nothing on the side. Just vid, go, vid, go, go, vid, end.

So is the mission Mike played in the interview available in the demo???

Some parts of it are cut off. Like traveling through Kirkwall and changing day into night etc. But from the point where you met up with Isabela outside the Chantry during night it's all the same, I recon.

It has been great as i expected. When i played through as a mage i loved the hooded robe in the second part of the demo.(and it's a simple robe)
Too bad we can't access all the skill trees, but that's a demo after all.
So far i have a preference for Male Hawke voice.

I've got it on 360 and I'm surprised, the rogue is to fast but the new combat system is very cool, the graphics are better then DA:O and until now i haven't seen any slowdowns. Now I'm gonna try the mage!

I did some dialogue, I think Male Hawke does a great job with most dialogue, but his sarcastic lines sound slightly off, like if he is trying to talk to fast or something. Female Hawke does good at all ranges.

Got to hate pacific time... update happens from 7pm to 11pm AND I'm working from 7 to 10... which means no downloading while working. I'll have to play during the night.

It's faster. ALOT faster. There's no auto attack so you keep masshing the attack button for the regular attacks which may take some getting used to. The animations are superb however and the pace is excellent. The delays in casting spells or abilities are severely reduced which goes along with the "push a button" thing they harped on. The result is that there is little to no down time when you're controlling your characters and it feels fantastic.
Lastly, we finally have move to point for party members. Thank God.
Overall, the combat feels intense and fast paced but with alot of room for tactical thinking and pausing. Simply put, it's awesome
