Well, at least PSN members dont have to have an "upgraded" account for it and I can actually DL it today. Actually, it'll probably be tomorrow seeing as how it's so late on the east coast. 4pm - 8pm PST means at the earliest Ill be able to DL will be 7pm (Im East Coast lol). Which, for me means I'll be getting ready for bed by then. I get up at 4am every morning so waiting that late in the evening just to DL a demo just isnt worth it lol. So, I'll probably DL tomorrow morning while drinking my morning coffee. At least I know now and dont have to watch PSN like a hawk waiting for it....Oh god, I can't believe I just made that pun XD. "Like a Hawke" XD

Free trials don't work iam  trying it now DOES NOT WORK(sad face)

Creating a new account does not work...the free trial for gold cannot download the demo.



A person is required to purchase at least one month of gold in order to download this demo today.

I will not spend another 20 dollars just to get the demo one week earlier, it goes against my principles for gaming (no advantages for purchasing items).



Sorry guys, I shall not count for the call to arms...was going to download the demo for all three systems, now I shall not download till next Tuesday.

Pretty much what everyone else said I upgraded to gold just for that and so a friend would stop asking me to go gold.

Create a new xbox live account, dont go with gold stick with silver and you will be granted a 30 day gold trial so you can download the demo and play it, if you want the items on your original account simply download the demo again in 7 days on your other account and play through again. Hope this helps

I used a 2-day trial and I can't download it either. Also I'll just wait to play it (I do have PS3) because people are reporting the item you get only shows up for the system you play it on.

Well, this kind of sucks. I guess I'll have to download it on my PC which has an 'amazing'  graphics card.

I have a question though.. Would I still get the items up for grabs if I download it March 1st for the 360, or is it only during the "Call to Arms" thingy?

You wouldn't be counted for the Call to Arms (to get to 1 million), but I think that the bonuses are applied to everyone's account, so I think you would get the items.  I am not sure though.

Microsoft's greed... Sony at least let's every member gain access when it is out.

But I am getting it for the 360 because I already have origins on it.... When the GOTY comes ill get it for pc and maybe ps3.

Yes for AAA games mostly.... I would my self end the 360 but I already have a library of games so im kinda stuck for now... My ps3 has not been on in a long time and if I had the money I would switch the consoles as the ps3 main and 360 secondary... but I need cash first.

Understandable.  It is too bad that that is how Microsoft runs XBox Live.

Create a new profile, sign up for Xbox live, when it asks you to subscribe say no. Assuming you haven't hit the console limit it will then offer you a free one month Gold trial which you can then use to download the DA:2 Demo.

Then after downloading it, sign out of the new profile and back into your normal silver profile, play the demo and enjoy the reward being unlocked without having to wait a week.
