A trial account seems to be working for me, I've just started downloading it.



Gonna take awhile though..

Trial account worked just fine for me too. No idea where they are getting the can't download from the trial idea from.

It works for me too. I wonder why it doesn't for some people.

I did this, and I didn't dream it as I unlocked the weapon, and don't have a paid gold account:

Create a new profile, sign up for Xbox live, when it asks you to subscribe say no. Assuming you haven't hit the console limit it will then offer you a free one month Gold trial which you can then use to download the DA:2 Demo.

Then after downloading it, sign out of the new profile and back into your normal silver profile, play the demo and enjoy the reward being unlocked without having to wait a week. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]
