i seriously dont get why everyone is hateing on isabellas body, ive seen plenty of women in real life that look like that, theres nothing wrong with a woman haveing a good body, biowares not sexist they just want to make a the feamle characters with a love side quest apealing to the male players

Maybe she's to much woman for these boys and gals to handle and they feel intimidated by her:P

for some reason Flemeth's redesign is not only badass to me, but slightly hot. She looks younger than in DA:O. Why I think this I don't know. Bioware must've kidnapped me in the dead of night, stuck a tiny probe in my brain, and brainwashed me into thinking Flemeth is kinda sexy now.

Well I liked it, now I want to play a rouge instead of a mage which I always play. Not sure what to pick now, I liked the action element of the rouge, hmm

And I seriously like Flemeth, she is dangerous, powerful and mysterious. Her new design is really cool too.

Well, a demo doesn't allow to see too much so, my concerns atm are:

- camera, bad handling and short range... not cenital view but also it goes back to 45º angle (30 :P)  after moving your char.
- interface, clean and with info... but the HUD/bars are in the "holy middle"..., I guess a floating HUD would be more useful, placing it where you want.

Oh forgot!..., mouse pointer inaccurate, sometimes It was not easy to select some options; e.g. dialogues and tactics

(xbox360) Ive beat it 5 times with 2hand S&S Dagger Bow and Staff,I found 2hand to be kind of pointless it offers nothing The bow has the most DD by far an scince you can fight up close with any wepon didnt see a point in even useing it.I also had problems with the text and the mood option when you talk if you already know if its going to be nice comic or mean than theres Guessing how ur personality is going to effect the game.Other than that i had fun being face passed mage.

Worst of all, female toon walking animation looks retarded... especially if you're playing a warrior female toon with plate armor and walking like a model... sasheying left and right like she's got a hip problem?

Voice for female Hawk is TERRIBLE. I mean its only slight better than when Madonna went through her "British" phase... some lines were passable while some lines were like? "Where exactly are you from, why are you butchering British accent?"

Yes, that had me taken aback too. The loping monkey swagger run in DA O was strange enough, but the female walking/running animation in DA 2 is even stranger. What is that. The squeeze an apple between my thighs and hip head sway boogie woogie shuffle...or something ? It is disconcerting

And yes, was not Hawkes beginning that of the peasant life ? If so that's a mighty posh accent she has there. For a moment I thought Lady Penelope. ( FAB )

Also, as ridiculously oversized as the greatswords are, and maybe this is all the marketing saturation talking, I'm thinking I"m going to abandon my usual sword-and-shield style gameplay and go with a two-handed Hawke--it just feels so much more...bada**.

The days of depth and Advanced D&D are gone, In only ten years the genre has been completely destroyed by the mother loving mainstream and the low tech consoles. All that exists are shooter and hack&slash hybrids, with bare bone leveling systems and cinematic dialogue sequences. Very Sad.

Because the advanced D&D stuff is slowly going out of style.  Back in the day when more people were familiar with those sorts of gaming mechanics, games which used those mechanics were more prolific.  But now, those complex mechanics are dated, and the once vast community that understood and used them are now a niche group.  You can still have depth, it just won't be the same depth that you're familiar with.

I played the demo on the PS3 now as well, and it still looks great, the only thing I miss on the PS3 is the auto attack that the PC version has.

On the PC I right click on a enemy and the character walks to the target and starts killing it, on the PS3 I first need to run to the enemy myself and then have to keep spamming X.

I don't mind walking up to a target myself bet I liked the auto attack from DA:O

The loading time is also allot longer on the PS3 but that's ok.

Still think I'm gonne buy it for PS3.

Just played the demo and i "kinda" enjoyed it. i liked the combat more in here than DA:O, alot more fluid and just "feels" better than i expected. the game definitely looks a bit better too, but i guess thats a given. my biggest problem so far is the cool down time on the heal spells. it feels like it takes almost 2 whole minutes to recharge and use it when in battle i need to be spamming it (since i played a sort of cleric/sorcerer). by the time im able to use it again and save my allies theyre already dead and im the next one to go which is COMPLETELY STUPID and renders the spell pretty useless.

same with healing bottles too, we should be allowed to use it as much as we want considering the raging hordes the game throws at you. and lastly, GET RID OF THE ****TY MASS EFFECT "DIALOGUE TREES"!!! seriously, they are awful and pretty much negate whatever idea of "choice" the player has. plus, your doing the same Top = Good dialogue and Bottom = Mean/Evil crap you did last time. it almost brain dead in how stupid it is. i say, bring back the trees in the old game. At least then it felt like whatever i chose was MY WORDS and not what the developer WANTED ME TO SAY.

I have to say, from playing the PC demo, that all this "Hate" is unfounded, i used the Pause button Liberally on my first playthrough and not so much on my second, and they're both fun in there own ways, play however you want,  just because one of the Slogans is "Fight like a Spartan" doesn't mean you have to always go into Hack'n'slash mode, plain and simple, if you don't want to, don't.
My two cents on the matter.

Seems to me that the demo should have been released much earlier as a game testing program, the feedback is kinda useless now when the game has gone gold.

Greatswords are exactly the same size they were in DAO.

I thought the got the demo covered basic gameplay well, but inventory and character creation probably should have been included.

Since you have obviously missed it: The auto-attack is disabled in the demo. In the full version you may set iit to auto-attack in Options. Or continue pressing X for each attack, if that its to your tastes.

Perhaps the feedback is useful to BioWare to get an idea of what to do for demos for upcoming games... ;)

Are you sure they aren't broader or something? At some points, it feels like something outta Final Fantasy. That goes for the protagonist's douchebag teenager with too much hairspray hairstyle and red stripe in his face too, by the way.

I definitely saw more "Morrigan's mother" in her face this time, especially the eyes.

I think the swords were bigger during the exagerated Varic bit...Don`t take my word for it though.

What it should mean seems to have very little bearing on how people employ it, and I'm pretty sure that's their point.

Why are the breasts so big? You trying to objectify women? THATS SEXIST!

Why are the women so flat? You trying to make them more like the men? THAT'S SEXIST (and/or gay)!

Why are most of the women mages? You saying they're weaker? THAT'S SEXIST!

Why are most of the mages men? You saying women aren't as smart? THAT'S SEXIST!

Why is that armor so revealing? Put on some ****ing clothes. THAT'S SEXIST!

Why is that armor so concealing? You guys transitioning to Sharia? THAT'S SEXIST!

Except, of course, I have not really seen the majority of those 'arguments' raised, other than here as used by yourself where you are making a Reductio ad Absurdum argument of a sort.
