con·sist·en·cy
/kənˈsɪstənsi/ Show Spelled[kuhn-sis-tuhn-see] Show IPA
–noun, plural -cies.
1. a degree of density, firmness, viscosity, etc.: The liquid has the consistency of cream.
2. steadfast adherence to the same principles, course, form, etc.: There is consistency in his pattern of behavior.
3. agreement, harmony, or compatibility, especially correspondence or uniformity among the parts of a complex thing: consistency of colors throughout the house.
4. the condition of cohering or holding together and retaining form; solidity or firmness.
...Sounds like the correct term to me.
As for trying to get BW to change this again for DA3, there isn't much hope for it. Due to the 'flashyness' of this version it will likely sell more, and BW would say "Gee, DA2 sold more copies than DAO, we're on the right track!", regardless of how many of DAO's existing fanbase actually liked DA2.
It is more casual, and that appeals more to casual gamers. Said gamers however will likely only spend a few days on DA2 before moving on to another game, caring less about plot and more about defeating innumerable hordes of enemies whenever they feel like it, and drop it again at the first part they feel is boring. 60% of gamers never finished Assassin's Creed, and that number will only go up according to current trends, But if you look at nothing but sales...
Now you're getting to the core of it...BW, believe it or not, is a company based on greed just like any other company. They arent special, they arent exempt from the corruption of corporations. And per betum (proper usuage I hope) what you posted is precisely why they will continue in the franchise's current direction. Again, for those, like myself, who actually like this fresh approach, wont mind so much. But to the so called "hardcore" fans, it's a jagged pill of truth they are having alot of trouble swallowing.
Of course they aren't, and thats why I will not give them more money when I will not enjoy this new game the way I liked the one before. I am quite certan it will not feel to them at all, but it is a principility of the thing, I at least as a person don't want to reward them for making a game I don't like and only possibly buy it when it is a lot cheaper, though even in that case I really doupt I will play it through.
I will see if I will buy any new games this year, the "dungeon master sequal" dungeons is a lot worser than the original games, and I have to say that most of the games today to not appeal to me. I will see how the new Elders scroll sequal will do, but I am not expecting too much, as Oblivion was so much duller than Morrowind, and Fallout 3 was not as good as the games before either (New Vegas at least was able to catch the spirit a bit better). There just is very few games nowdays in many categories that I do not enjoy, only some action games are better. The new drake's fortune might be the one rare new game that I might buy, as I think that concept has worked quite well, and tactics (cover) actually matter... I will be really glad if I find out there will be some really good rpg coming, but at this point I do not expect that to happen, but this is already off topic.
-As said, tactical view/ overhead view is very small, and I always like options in my rpg games and here... You have limeted charachter options and limited options of what you are going to say, and those 3 together will make the game a bad game for me.
And yes it is still Dragon Age, and dragon age world has options. I do not care that much even if the battle is more unrealistic, but making this a film story a little like drake's fortune or prince of persia only with multiply charachters in your team, makes it a completly different game and idea than Dragon age origins was... Even the "familiar" enemies aren't familiar. But Many will enjoy this game I am sure, I just will not, and it is still a dragon age2 even if it isin't dragon age origins 2. This in my opinion would mean that you do not have any origins and that I expected, but otherwise it should not mean that there is no need to have any choises... (Maybe there are some choises if you help some certan faction or not, but no race choises or dialogue choises/or very limited ones at that one...)

Well, by "google" I mean im "Binging" it would be more appropriate lol. Bing seems to work better for me alot of times.
Hmm...Nope, same hits, even with Bing.
My general opinion of Bing is that it has trouble finding its own shoelaces in terms of coming up with hits that are even close to what i'm looking for, but it seems you're having better luck with it.

1, The combat made me feel like I was the killer in a slasher movie instead of the feel of tactically manuvering my characters to win a hard-fought battle
2, The dialouge wheel. Might be that Im not used to it (never played Mass effect) but it seemed at times that the options I got didnt reflect what the characters acctually said very well. I also felt that they were quite limited in what I could say. One of the things I loved with DA:O was the dialouge (GRIFFONS!?)
3, Graphics was a nice improvement. Especially the faces but you really need to cut back on the blood. Being absolutely covered in it and cutting Darkspawn in half with daggers and have them fountain blood just doesnt appeal to me. It was bad taste in DA:O and its bad here. At least there is the option of turning that off
4, Voice acting. Hmm I dont really know, its hard to tell just from the demo. DA:O is going to be hard to beat, especially since you meet Morrigan (
Overall though, I did like it and its impossible to judge a whole game from just a demo and Im looking forward to get my hands on the full game. Keep up the good work and thank you BW for keeping me entertained for hours and hours!
(Hope I could make myself understood in my half-decent english

I've never had luck with Bing. I once tried to use it to find Microsoft DirectX update and its couldn't find it.

As far as links go, Im mainly getting snippets from it being used in sentences.
Protip: Bing steals its top hits from Google.

<-- had Latin classes
Also, the fact that Bing told you it was 'per batum' kind of proves my point there:lol:

Now what Im wondering....As Ive stated before, as why no one has commented on the feature (IMO) that is one that I wanted in Origins. And that feature being the ability to toggle your helmet on and off. You can now wear that rediculous mage hat with the stats you wanted without the need for embarassing yourself in public. lol
There was a mod that did this in DA:O. So all they did was apply something a mod already did.

Well neener neener lol. j/k Seriously though I only had the PC version briefly so the only mods I DL'd for it were the ones related to forced Death Blows. Nice to know we console folk get that option now too

Toggling helmets... wasn't that an option somewhere in NWN? But yeah, as the proud owner of a Helmet of the Deep, i'd have to agree face-concealing helmets look rather silly on an archer

I am very disappointed in DA2 based on the demo. Compared with DA-O, this is almost like something created 10 years ago. The characters are very cartoon looking, and the effects are inferior.
This is a regression, not a progression of the game. What was BioWare thinking with this rubbish?

Since this is a post about the Dragon Age 2 Demo, I have to say that I am most impressed so far. It's everything that
the developers said it would be, more active combat (one of my fav features so far), graphics are good as well very
well suited for the type of universe that the game takes place in (nothing like exploding darkspawn haha).
There is one thing that somewhat confused amd disappointed me though, why did you change Cassandra's hair? lol
I thought that her silver hair suited her very well as it immediately drew your attention to her and gave her as
sense ofdark authority. (Very minor gripe
So overall well done bioware looking forward to March 8.
