Now what Im wondering....As Ive stated before, as why no one has commented on the feature (IMO) that is one that I wanted in Origins. And that feature being the ability to toggle your helmet on and off. You can now wear that rediculous mage hat with the stats you wanted without the need for embarassing yourself in public. lol
There was a mod that did this in DA:O. So all they did was apply something a mod already did.

Did I say I didnt use it myself? What's that? No?! That's what I thought. Never even implied that I dont use it. Merely pointing out the fact that it was, indeed, rhetoric.

No, there'd be a point if I denied using rhetoric myself. Which makes your point kind of moot tbh.

Ok, so the whole thing is a story being told by Varric. It feels like a story. But I'm concerned about what effect this is going to have on the overall feel. Are we not meant to take it seriously?

What's more dangerous looking? A guy doing cartwheels and kicking flasks, or a guy who moves carefully like he's taking in every minute aspect of the battlefield, looking for an opening to attack?
Actually, both of them can "look" and "Be" equally dangerous. Especially if said "cartwheeling" person is confident enough in their skills to be able to be flashy like that and still be deadly. As a side note, you're one of the few people that actually dislikes the combat system for a "genuine" reason. Where as most others who hate it use that idiotic "C" word that Im really beginning to hate alot lol.

Good thing too. I can't imagine how much louder the whining and b*tch*ing here would have been had they made her a stereotypical hollywood thin chick with big ******. lol

That's a good question. I'd say, on a battlefield, who cares about how you look? But the real answer is: The biggest danger is an enemy you can't see, and can't contain. Say what you want about how they did Rogues in DA2, but they nailed this one. Period. Rogues are now Rogues, not Warriors in leather like they were in DA:O.artsangel wrote...

Actually I signifigantly disagree. This isn't a Rogue, this is some OA Ninja multiclass.

Such happens when you play an inferior platform? Course you don't get nice things.

When in battle, I often find that the attacks I try to make won't happen until after my character finishes his/her complete sequence of normal attacks. Also, and more frustrating. I often pause and try to make one of my allies replenish their health, and the heart will show up under there health bar, but then after I've unpaused and gone back to my main character they switch back to an attack before doing what I told them to.

Just curious but, did you ever actually play a Rogue in D&D? As to the "inferior platform" comment...Dont turn this into a console vs PC war. Seriously...it's a dead horse that doesnt need to be beaten anymore.

Yes. It would really let BioWare tap into the "I was hit by rays of Gamma Radiation" demographic.

The only other point I can think of off the top of my head is hypocracy. To which, ALL of us, yes this means you, are even guilty of at times lol...The difference between you and I is that I embrace the primal side of my humanity as opposed to being "Lets all hold hands and sing kumbah-ya" and thinking anyone who doesnt think that way as less of a person. You want to "get along" with everyone, that's your business. Despite the fact that I do disagree with people here alot, I dont think less of them as people as a whole. So any point you try to make in that regard, once again moot.

Depends what type you are playing. The mage will no doubt be alone at one point. Run away, and when the flame/ice comes back, hit the Ogre and run away again. Also, if your other characters die w/some spawn left, run and defeat them, and go back to the point where Aveline appeared. Your other chars will reappear w/full everything. Then all attack the Ogre. If warrior or rogue, defeat the spawn while protecting the mage. Use health on yourself and the other warr/rogue. The bow fighter works real well against the Ogre. Just never close within its range, and defeat the spawn first.
