Big improvements graphic wise, can't wait to see the game with dx11 fully implemented. Combat system and talents improved much.

I trust you guys balanced the classes out early, mid and end game. The mage frost cc was looking pretty uber.

The demo was excellent and I can't wait till March 8th.

I bet the critics will fawn over every aspect of this mess dribbling from BioWare's butthole like they have for the last ten years for absolutely no reason (except bribes which we know every reviewer takes) while idiots buy it in droves because they literally have no taste. I wish more people could be sensible. Like me.

I can't quite tell if you are trolling or if you are just a douche. The "Like Me" part of your post pretty much invalidated everything you said, as you proved yourself to be one of those people who thinks everyone who disagrees with them is an idiot.

As a PC gamer the dialogue wheel disappoints me to no end. I hate that damn thing even in mass effect. I think it's fine for consoles but don't force it on to the PC users it's awful. You just end up with 3 generic choices. Good, cheeky and bad. It's really bumming me out and I'm very sceptical of the final product.

I played the demo just now and i cant describe the disappointment and sadness, the biggest of all is the graphics, followed by the fact that there isnt the zoom out bird view of the battle field etc. I think that they got lazy and that we all (pc, ps3 and 360) got the same thing ...

I have no idea who pushed bioware to release the sequel so fast and why they had to jump the gun, Im just very very disappointed, i cant go on and on explaining my self ill just post few Dragon age Origins screenshot and they will speak for them selves, i cant bother posting DOA2 screens i just cant...Enjoy what once was, and i dont understand lol why the hell are there video setting for the game when on max it still looks plain and flat, no effects, no shine, no bloom, no lightning, no details on the walls, floors, items... just flat..

And dont pull me for my tongue to go about the super simplified and none challenging gameplay with overwhelming power of spells...Cant wait for all does bought score of awesomeness on gametrailers, ign and gamespot one the same template all 8 and 9's...I bought DAO and all the DLC and loved it, this ill download, if you know what i mean, good luck Bioware and i hope you come back to us next time with the good old dragon age...

And dont go on me but this but that but but, that too many BUTS!

No offense, but Its not fair to judge the demo alone. Will have to wait for the game to come out. Bioware has never failed deliver (maybe, considering DA:O was full of numbers on the screen when you fight, and in DA2 they are smart enough to display health bar for every enemy).

Crap. My very high-end game rig laughed at the painted on garments and the look of the darkspawn...playdough would look better. Tactics didn't correctly set. Battle was to fast and the passives kept resetting. I would rather play 500 hrs..which I have...DAO 1 than this crap. I just cancelled my pre order because its crap. Also Bioware..I'm glad that you see it fit to be as greedy as a banking jew...hence the pay for crowns on Facebooks legends. Greed and with all of that money you still produced an eyesore of a game with DAO 2. Oh wait...you will say...but it's only a demo. WHATEVER...your press release stated that the game is finished and well...too bad for us consumers who were expecting something better...needless to say that DAO the original was not broken so why screw up the second part. As a fine artist that I am...I can take a ball of clay and blindfolded make better models than what your graphics dept. made of this game. If you mess up MASS EFFECT 3...I will make you pay.

The only thing I dislike about the demo is the difficulty. I know it is set to normal but I cannot get past the part where you have to fight the ogre after Hawke's sister gets knocked out. I get it down to its last bit of health and by that time everyone else is knocked out and the darkspawn and the ogre swarm my character and kill me.

It was unsetteling at times that I can not move the camera freely beyond the range of the selected character. Specially when trying to plan AoE abilities in pause mode, that was an unnecessary restriction. If this would be changed or atleast optional, I could accept the loss of the iso view without looking back.

The grafics are...ok. Not as outdated as I thought, but I am looking forward to what it looks like in dx11.

I like the character interaction and how, atleast thus far, your party feels alive (unlike in Mass Effect 2).

I can see the benefit of having unrealistic animations for more fluid gameplay, it is quite fun. Luckily I don't have to put up with button mashing on the PC version. If there is enough diversity throughout the game.

Captain Janewa..Flemeth is awesome.

The biggest annoyance I have seen so far is the "bravery" (is it?) sustained spell for the mage that makes the whole party glow. Seriously, did noone think about that before implementing it? Who wants to have a glowing, featureless party for the rest of the game?

I just really hope that modding will be possible again.

I played as a rogue my first playthrough and loved how fast and fluid she was, but i can't seem to get past the first ogre. Maybe it's because the demo is a condensed version, but i've noticed that they don't give you enough health potions to compensate for the slow cooldown for the healing spell. I retried a dozen times and every tactic seems to end with the same result...death.

Put Aveline in Shield Defense mode and have her engage the ogre alone. Use Hawke and Beth/Carver to clean up the hurlock waves. Make Aveline down a health potion if she needs one. Then everyone team up on the ogre to finish.

Ok, just finished my second playthrough as a warrior. First one crashed during the final conversation with Isabela. Irritating, but I've got to say I'm impressed. I thought as first the combat was a little too fast but the new power moves are very satisfying. I found myself jumping from character to character just to try out each one. As much fun as I had watching my warrior plow through people, I think I had the most fun experimenting with Varric. All of his attacks with his crossbow made me laugh with delight. I didn't even know what evade was at first; way cool.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the redesign as much. I actually enjoyed Flemeth's new look despite my earlier apprehension. I think they went a little too far to make her look ordinary in the original. I like what they did with her for the second game. She fit Kate Mulgrew's voice a bit more. I think I still like the look of the original Ogre; just because that very first one that you meet on top of the tower in Ostagar is one of my favorite gaming moments of all time, but all in all, two very big thumbs up. Well done.

Use health potions (the red hearts on the right of the interface). Or use the healing spell. Use abilities in general. Move sorrounded and almost dead characters away from the danger zone. Use the pause button.

All those people saying "it's just the demo". The demo constitutes about 75% of the full version, because it displays the gameplay mechanics, conversation, itemisation, several of the KEY talent trees, player-character interaction, artistic direction and style, and much more.

The story is really the only big unknown, but story only accounts for about 20-30% of what adds up to making a brilliant game.

Don't know if anyone said something about it or not, but when I played female warrior hawke, for the first part of the game she wasn't carrying a sword and even though seeing her kill an ogre barehanded was nice to see, it was a little annoying.

My feeling after playing through the demo at 1920x1200 with DirectX 11 was that the graphics looked somehow worse than the first one, but then I realized that I played through Origins with the improved texture mod (I hope Bioware will release a toolset so more savvy people than I can make improvements).

Rather than the actual graphics, I think maybe I'm just not very keen on the art direction this game took.  Even though in certain respects the hurlocks are more detailed than Origins, they look far less impressive.  I laughed when I first saw a crowd of them spazzing towards me, all simultaneously waving their swords in the same way.  I was also disappointed with how dull the landscape in the first part looked.  Female Hawke's out of combat running animation also looks incredibly silly to me.

These are all minor gripes, of course.  It looks like a promising game and I would buy it just for the story and gameplay, but I hope that for Dragon Age III Bioware will make significant improvements to the graphics and art style.  After all, you guys already adopted  the conversation wheel from Mass Effect, why not bring the visuals up to that level of polish? (There's probably a very good reason, but still, it needs to be said.)

I am happy how they did the graphics. I don't have the money to afford a new gaming computer and whenever I play DA:O it starts to lag after about two hours. I do plan on saving my money and getting a new computer by November so I can play Mass Effect 2 and 3 on my computer as well as DA:O and DA 2.

Played PC and PS3 version.

PS3 easy to control and play.

PC easy game to beat.

I died a few times on PS3 wheres as PC stayed alive.

I haven't played PC gaming for many years and found it rather hard to get going. After finding where to change the default keys it made it a bit easier, but still clunky. Maybe as I was on a laptop with a touchpad mouse didn't help!!

PS3 very easy to play fell into DA:O mode quite easily but why change the wheel allocation about??

Picking up loot was easier on PS3, pity you couldn't do anything with it. WHY!

Combat, really. What are you guys playing at, jump 20 feet through the air and wield a 5 foot sword above your head at the same time, please!

The Isabella boobs, I like boobs just as much as the next guy but come on they are just OTT. Its an RPG not a pre-teen porn mag.

I said when the first gameplay was shown that I thought it would be a button masher and so far it looks like it is. Pity.

Will play again tonight as male hawke on PS3 and see if it plays any better.

Noticed one feedback earlier where someone mentioned not getting Hayder's razor after completing the demo. It did pop up for me. No real problems on my playthrough beyond that first crash to desktop, and that was at the very end of the demo.
