I wonder if many people are gonna go thru a run on release day or actually gonna wait for the inevitable first patch before playing?
I waited until the 4 patch before playing...did not regret it one bit...and i got a good solid game ouf of it...how about you? what will you do?
Will you play on release day or wait?

Why wait? I've played Origins since release day, minimal to no problems with it, and thus enjoyed this game way longer! Logic!

I'm playing the instant I get the game home.

Lol, first patch my arse. I've never had a problem with a game that I couldn't fix myself or ignore. I certainly didn't have any bugs in DA:O, and I played that on release day.

I envy patient people. I could never wait for a patch even if I wanted to.

Think I'm pretty commited to playing the game on day one, or else I wouldn't have bought the CE Guide and two copies of the SE.
Only problem I had with Origins on day one was the DLC items disappearing when not connected to Xbox Live/EA servers.

I will be playing it as soon as I get my hands on it

I believe I'm getting the SE shipped a few days later now because I changed my address and was no longer given the option of day one shipping, so I don't really have a choice other than to wait.
But if I still manage to get it on the 8th, I'll be doing what I can to play the hell out of it.

I could wait but what will I have to play until then? Those sh*tty football and gun games? The gun games which campaigns are over in 2 hours? Thanks but I've pre-ordered DA2 and will probably get more than 100 hours out of it. Replay value is supposed to be good just like with Origins which I still feel like playing even a whole year later. I don't mind paying £40 for a game where the story takes around 40 hours to finish.

Sadly I doubt I will be able to play it on release day. While I might be able to get my hands on it on release day I need to replay Origins and Awakenings before I can get to DA2. Something I sadly doubt I will be able to acomplish by then
Otherwise I would play it on release day no doubt in my mind.

Im forced to wait.
Even though i bought the Signature Edition, until it arrives here in Brazil is gonna take some time, probably 20~30 days.
Even the demo i wont be able the play today, just tomorrow, damn work!

If i catch wind of even a slight memory leak or load time bug, I am not buying it. Not going to go through the months of disappointment waiting on a patch that didn't completely fix the issue like I did with Origins.

playing it on day one i myself had no problems with dragon age origin from the start it was only after patches came that there were some minor problems so heres hoping no patch is neccesary at all!

I'm going crazy waiting NOW! I don't think I'd have the willpower to wait a minute longer than I have to!

Don't know if it's even a plausible notion to "wait" for this game.

Personally I hope to pick up the game at midnight and plan to play all night. That is if my Gamestop does a midnight sale...

Downloading from EAstore and I am playing the minute it's installed. I didn't play Origins until the Ultimate Edition came out and I found all the mods, but now I'm addicted to the Dragon Age. I love it. I've played Origins 16 times and I've started my 17th game. I love it.

DA2 is not a game that has my special interest so I can wait a year or so.
