That's just great. I get home from riding and sees to my joy that it is done downloading. Only to discover that the file is corrupted. 

I think I'm just going to cry in a corner while I try it again.

Take a shot at different mirrors or maybe torrents. Maybe you fill find something that is faster.

AMAZING demo, shame that its french and i dont understand a word XD But tomorrow i'll download the english version. But does somebody know where can i see that i completed the demo and obtained the bonus sword? I was connected when i played...

Its the voice over player character feature, which creates a disconnect between the player and character. When you normally get into character (role-play), the thoughts, voice, choices, and actions are your own. Once they removed the importance of the player's inner voice, the role-playing aspect of the game had dissolved. You are now controlling the actions of someone else; thus, you are no longer in character (no more role-playing).

"Dragon Age II" is feeling like a first-person shooter with rpg elements, but it lacks the whole inner voice process to the role-playing experience. "SW: TOR" mmo will feel the same way.

Giving the player-character a voice looks good on paper, but seeing it being implemented is a little awkward and disconnecting.

EDIT:  The direct x install is working but it doesn't fix the problem.

I dont know what to do then I got the same error, but when i installed the directx, it solved the problem.

Fileplanet free mirror is consistently 1.4MB/s I went there after a 3rd failed attempt from bioware site.should be done in about 20mins.

Warrior had the same temperamental controls as the mage. It was a little irritating after awhile. Otherwise, great game. Off to work.

I'll find out soon enough. I made attempts to download from Bioware and pretty sure it counted towards their attempt to get 1,000,000 dls. Already have an EA Account think that's all you need. I'll find out in about 10 mins or so. Heh, I'm excited to play it either way.

Horrible game in every aspect. Thanks for the demo, thought. This might be the very first BioWare product I'm skipping, however I still have faith in the Star Wars MMO.

Anyone who actually dislikes this demo, you should probably stick to playing board games, they seem more your pace.

seriously, what do you want? awkward warriors and rogues swinging their weapons in super slowmo? you want to take 30 skills that you'll never end up using?

EDIT: Voice actors for player characters don't ruin an RPG game. By that faulty logic, Final Fantasy isn't an RPG series. You don't NEED a silent protagonist to be a role player. You're still choosing what's being said, thus it is still you. You're choosing whether you're a sarcastic wise guy or a douche to everyone
