This is just like ME1 where you would use a power and then walk to the next engagement only to find out that your powers are still cooling down.
Again I love this game, but if the cooldowns could go down I bit I'd be even more happy.

Okay Bioware i love everything about the demo except some of the cooldowns on a few of the powers. In the first game combat was slower and the cooldown for heal was 5sec. In DA2 the combat is a lot faster which means you take damage faster, but the cooldown for heal is now 60 seconds?!
Maybe they're a little long, but seriously.. the potion cooldowns were one of the biggest reasons DAO was so incredibly easy. You could just manufacture practically unlimited numbers of potions and then gulp them down as often as you needed to.

Is anyone else a little peeved that the Demo is free on the pc and ps3 but you have to pay for it on xbox. I don't have a gold account and probably never will since I don't play online. I just think it is a bit greedy on ms part.

I'm sorry if this been brought up already but I'm at work and don't have the time to read all 30 pages.

¨Pros: Combat is more fast paced
Mored details on blood,armor,faces,spells etc
Voiced character
The speechwheel,i want action not reading pages of text,i read a book for that.
Cons: I play on Very High and still groundtextures and area textures look like ****.This is the biggest letdown in my eyes.We are 2011,not 2000 anymore.
I was so happy with the announcement of DA2,and thought about it as instabuy. Not anymore,i'm gonna wait for the modding community to do the things Bioware neglected.

Silver members get it in about a week. Not BioWare's fault, it's Microsoft's decision.

Loving the visual style (other than the muddy red rocks), but it crashed on me during the Arrival at Kirkwall cutscenes twice. Should I cancel my preorder, or is this a demo-specific issue?

Yeah the potions were overpowered in origins. Gotta give that one to you.Pauravi wrote...

Will not be buying this dumbed down hack and slash console-pandering anime-wannabe. Two thumbs down from someone who thought DAO was the best game made since BG2.
Did you play through it, or should we simply admire your posturing?
