I loved DA:O and after the demo I know i'll love DA2 as well.

The moves in DA:O were slower, but they were more "realistic".
DA2 looks unnatural.

Only if that were true. My 8 year old cousin loves DA:O, but very much like me, isn't very enthusiastic about DA2. I do not think i'll be buying this one.. If anything i'll be buying a used one 6 months from now.SumoMau wrote...

dragon age looks ruined from this demo
it's like Mass Effect story....
Mass Effect was Epic
Mass Effect 2 was for kids
Dragon Age Origin was Epic
Drago Age 2 will be for kids
We have all to wait for Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 3

Well I beat the demo as a warrior, mage and rogue. I don't seem to get the entitlement hayden's razor though. . .
did the same thing and I'm having the same issue. I made sure I was connected to ea.com through DA2 and I've checked my entitlements mage several times. How can I get this to work?

So glad that we don't have to pick Auto-attack, I will be playing it on 360.
The only thing I did not like was that Warrior females seemed like their attacks sucked and same with Mages.
I am using a rouge which is what I did in the last game but I don't understand why I am not good at the other 2 class types:?
Anyways, I really love the demo, don't know how many times I have played it over and over again, I so can't wait for the full game to come out!!

Now, it is much more of a H&S and it does look like Divinity 2 a lot, but wasn't divinity a awesome game?

I enjoy the new game play, much faster. Seems much easier too, going to flip it to hard.
It was very cool to see the new Flemeth.

All the DA:O purists may as well just forget the Dragon Age series altogether after this demo. The game is going to sell better than DA:O... so Bioware definitely isn't going to revert back to DA:O's style for DA3.
Don't flamebait.
This isn't flamebaiting: it's a legitimate point, maybe expressed awkwardly. I played the demo, and I can say confidently that DA2 is very clearly not for DA:O purists. It's also likely that DA2 will sell better, because it's clearly targeting a wider and larger console-gaming market. If that happens, it's likely that Bioware/EA will continue with the DA2 style, as the market has spoken. No one is saying that's Right or Wrong, they're just statements of fact.
Personally, I gave my opinion that DA2 is likely to disappoint people looking for a deeper DA:O experience, which includes me. That doesn't mean that DA2 sucks in every way imaginable, or that DA2 is going to be awesome in every way imaginable. It means that some hardcore RPG gamers, and perhaps more "old school" or dedicated PC gamers, are going to be put off by DA2.
What is flamebaiting is to call others flamebaiters for expressing reasonable opinions.
No, flamebaiting is how you talk to people and how you word your responses, (please learn to think out your responses before speaking / typing) < flamebaiting.
It is not likley that DA2 will sell better at all and thats really pie in the sky, changing a game from one thing to another does not increase the playerbase it infact merely switches it to another and that concept that changing something increases playerbase is a false one and not fact, it actually loses people who like a genre which original game in series fell into there are many many examples of this to be true and I have mentioned some in another post.

Dissapointed the new menu system cheapens the feel of the game it takes way from the depth of the game and the overall feel. The potions look like the should be in tourch light not dragon age and the character view makes the graphics look bad. I love dragon age origins and the menu system as well as the spell system and look of the area effect rings. Please tell me there will be an option to adjust the menu to the classic feel and colors or at least something along those lines. the adition of A-button as an action button is cool but the icons and skill trees look far too modern i feel alienated from my Dragon age experience
Agree with this myself completley though I thought the UI was more in line with Hello Kitty games.
P.s. People it's Rogue not Rouge there's only so many times one can read that mistake by people before want to jump off nearest cliff or bang head against wall...

We did hit over a million downloads, but a bunch were from multiple downloading on the same platform. They adjusted it to only accept the first download and that's why it is back down to 3/4 of a million. ( that was the explanation I was told)
Second, The graphics are going to be a bit better in the release than the demo. Part of it was due to time constraints and compression, same reason for the starting and stopping. Depending on your system, and disc drives (for PC users), you could have almost seamless interaction.
Third, most people will want to make sure that they have the latest updates from your Platform or components for PCs. I had several updates that only arrived in the last week for my video card, monitor, and disc drive.
I have a little things for remembering Rouge/Rogue. Rouge is for a lady, Rogue stabs in the back. Just a quip and I am not perfect in spelling so no more soap box for me .
Have fun.

Hayder's Razor - PS3 (which is what downloaded demo on)
Staff of Parthalan - PS3/360/PC+Mac
Hindsight - PS3/360/PC+Mac
All show up on my list
I Want the facebook freebies too but I'm not in Beta and it's not out yet so can't get.
Friend ordered me copy signature edition from Play (Hoping I don't get caught up in this whole play cancelling random preorder thing people talking about atm.) So I can get those preorder+sig-ed freebies too.
Don't wish to do that buy from USA shop place for Ring (not exactly a freebie) because I'm UK so the $15 turns into $30-40 with shipping and isn't by any means worth it.
Is there anymore freebies/promotions that can get before game is arrives?
