I played the demo on its release. It was freaking amazing in the way that it played and most of its original elements seem to have survived the dreaded 'streamlining' process. Any predilection I had with Bioware making the game's combat more of an action RPG (since I'm on X360) has been laid to rest. I can't wait to play the full game for myself.



I do have some complaints, though. For one, where is my Arrow of Slaying?! Is it too much to hope for that these Talent trees are just abbreviated forms from the full version?

What the heck is up with the demo counter it goes up then back down yesterday it reached 800,000+ then dropped. Today it reached the goal of 1 million+ then dropped.

I still have to wait to play on the 360 because I don't have a gold membership...lame, ppl with a pc don't have to wait because they don't have a membership, why should we ?

The Beta isn't connected yet to give items. At least that is the message I keep getting and I am in the beta.  Maybe once DA2 goes out it will? or once they open DA:L to everyone on FB?

I wonder how substantial the XP and gold boost are. Are they tied to level? If so, then ppl might want to know. I wonder how it will be balanced if it is not tied to level. Too little XP and it will be useless later on and too much means that you will gain like 5 levels if you use it at level 1 or something.

I played the PS3 demo only minutes ago only to find out that my wireless internet connect ended up getting discounnect half way through my play through. Will I still get the cool Hayder’s Razor?

Check it out under the registered game promotions part of your profile. If it's not there, try replaying the demo again without getting disconnected.

I have played demo and if game will be like that then it will be an epic fail. I have finished origins and addon and all downloadible content more than hundred times and i am a big fan but this is not what i was expecting from dragon age 2. Very disapointed .....

Be aware that a majority of the DLC requires an active internet
connection and also requires you to be logged into your Bioware/EA
Online account that you used to purchase or redeem the content.
Otherwise you will get Unauthorized info in the Installed Content.

How does one get the Hayder's Razor exactly? My connection isn't stable enough to remain connected for the demo's entire hour.

I didn't like the demo.

It made it look like a game that would score 5/10 on IGN.

Can't believe how cheap they made the game. Instead of creating the world to tell the story, they are gonna tell the story with comic book features and narration by the dwarf.

Mike is dissapoint.

I've tried both the PC and PS3 versions of the game now. I have to say I am not a fan of the PS3 version. But the PC version is fantastic and I cannot wait for March 11th!

Downloaded it on PS3 because I needed gold membership on xbox live to download the demo. It was awsome. Cant wait to play the actual game.

The demo wasn't put together very well. The timing isn't very good. It feels more like a basic build that would be shown to game reviewers... A mass market demo should leave the player on a cliff hanger. This is just like, random flashes of time that make very little sense together.

Has anyone played the game with someone who didn't play DA:O? It must be even more confusing to a complete newbie.

the demo was fun. sure it was a demo from while back the one they ran on the test floor. but still wow it was very nice . fast and feel good^^. i have to say though on the pc i feel like the rogue was going to crash my pc since she was moving to fast. haha but with the ps3 it play pretty smooth . eh i guess i need to update my pc. haha XD
