I don't know what this shogun thing is about but I am tempted to go for that aswell.

If you've never played a Total War game, go check it out.  Shogun 2 Total War is a semi-historical war game that is a sort of hybrid between turn based strategy and real time strategy gaming.  The scale is massively impressive.  We're talking thousands of troops fighting on screen at once.

I've only got 20 minutes or so left on that demo -- which is almost 6 gigs, and still have 4 or 5 hours left on the Dragon Age 2 demo, which is comparatively small at 2 gigs.

My point is that this should never, ever be an issue. An official bittorrent release would have eliminated any availability issues. Lousy planning here.

Torrent here is about 1 mb/s, and from official site it's about 130 kb/s.

Yay for mirrors. Download speed started at 400 kB/s from Bioware, but is now at 124 kB/s.



Meanwhile, downloading at 3.2 mB/s from Gamershell Netherlands mirror (I'm in the US too, lol). 5 more minutes now!
