What determines the speed for this stupid torrent anyway? I don't understand all these numbers. I know more seeds is more download speed, but mine says 3 seeders then has a bigger number in parenthesis (55). Plus I've been downloading a lot longer than most people, yet they get faster speeds and mine just dropped to an all-time low of 33kb/s, and it's making me very ANGRY. My normal downloading speed is usually about 1.5mb/s.

If anyone has very bad internet connections or slow ones, or w/e reason that they might get slow and interrupted, here's some torrents:

Not only is the download slow total time to download 5 to 6 hours), I loose the conection on hour into the download..this has happened to me 3x today.  What is the problem?

Guys, I didn't say that the torrent ones would be faster, Just experiment

I've had no luck with torrents, but using Download Express seems to be doing the trick at 700 Kb/S.

The number in the parentheses is the total, the number outside of it is how many people you're connected to. The more people you're connected to - seeds and peers - the faster the download.

The ETA will fluctuate as your connections to other people do. I went from 18 hours to 3 hours, then to 8 hours, and now it's telling me 45 minutes.

A constant 489KBps (3.9Mbps) currently in NZ using the link direct from the website, a pretty decent rate considering my internet connection. Helps to use a download manager rather than Firefox, Chrome or IE's default downloader.

I don't know about anyone else but I think it's crap that you have to have a gold membership to download the xbox demo. Really sucks for those of us who don't care for online play but were really excited for the launch of this demo.
