Right big problem i had this problem lol and downloaded the thing to fix it, and now when i click play it just waits 3 seconds and says dragon age 2 has stopped working

Gah, DirectX will not install. Says that setup could not download the file ("please recheck network connection or try again later"). Which is bloody stupid, because I've already downloaded the thing and there should be nothing left to download. >.<

There is probably a lot of people having this error running the updater right now, clogging up microsoft's server. Try trying again later.

Some users (like myself, sadly) might find that the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer with their systems. In such case, I recommend the following web-link: http://www.microsoft...91-50ceb6d8fa8d



Worked with me, I'll be happy to know if anyone who has more knowledge on that complicated computer stuff to say whether this is really a good solution or whether I've done something bad with my computer and nobody else should follow my example !

Having the same issue. Will try this. If it doesn't work, i'm giving up. I've already spent 5 hours just getting and the demo and trying to get it working. Thats too long in my book.
