Liking the demo on pc so far.
A lot better than the version on the xbox, at least.

I tried to run the game on DX11 and very high, but that just got me lag and artifacts. Then I read that the demo does not support DX11 so I figure it's that.

Now I am running on DX9 and I can't put the settings ingame higher than 'Medium'. Runs like a charm but I noticed that my first video card is running at 90-100% and my second videocard is at 0%.

Will the full game have SLI Support? I sure hope so...

It's a brand new game, so nVidia needs time to add the profile for SLI. In the meantime you can add a custom profile and enable one of the default SLI modes, such as SFR, AFR, or AFR2. I'd start with AFR2 and see if performance improves. SFR is generally a special fix for some games and is an older implementation, so I'd avoid it.

Thanks =)

I didn't think it was driver profile related.

Actually, I seem to remember DA2 being included in a list of SLI profile updates sometime before the holidays late last year. I remember wondering at the time how they did it before the game went cold. I can't find the link right now (forgive... I am about to fire up the demo for the first time) but if it did come out, it will have been included in the latest Nvidia display driver updates.

ArmeniusLOD's suggestion worked. I see both my videocards being used now.

Performance is not how I would like it to be though.

GTX460 1gb SLI'd. I can run the game on high on DX11, but the game feels a bit choppy.

Very High just gives me black artifacts, I guess those features are not yet implemented hehe.

Nice to see this post already here ... was just about to ask this question, so time to go see if the custom profile will work for me :)

A SLI profile for DA2 is already present in the latest Nvidia drivers. Just change the name of the executable of the demo from DragonAge2Demo to DragonAge2. You will have to start the game from that executable, after, but this will enable the SLI profile of Nvidia.

A custom profile for DragonAge2Demo works also.

It is different. Nvidia creates personal profiles with targeted parameters that you cannot create by yourself. The only way to replicate them a bit is via Nvidia Inspector, but it will never be exactly the same thing.

Anyway I don't think the demo has SLI support, so in any case enabling the profile changes nothing.

EVGA has released SLI enhancement 37, for nvidia drivers 266.58, which add SLI support for the demo. You just run the program and it adds an SLI profile for DA2 demo.
