Hi, i got an issue evrytime i try to login to the dragon age server.
It says "Disk is not ready, Diskdoor(?) maybe open. Make sure that disk A: (Is my memory stick input?) Is installed correctly and that the diskdoor is shut." That's the translation from my error mess.
I have no clue whatsoever what this has to do with me connection to the servers but it just wont let me connect and just shows this message.
Thanks.
Disk not ready?

@Danabe
Try disconnecting any flash drives or removable media you have currently attached to your system. This is an issue we identified after the demo was sent out. It affects a small amount of users with certain removeable media drives. This should not affect the main game.

I was able to login through repeated attempts, despite the warnings. Weird. I hope it works.

I don't think it worked. I finished the demo, and then I looked down and saw 'Log In' instead of 'Log Out' again. And I don't see Hayden's Razer or whatever in my registered game promotions.
Guess I'll have to figure out what's up with A, even though I don't have a physical A drive to my knowledge.

I had to disable the floppy drive (that don't even have) in the device manager.

If you just press "Try Again" the game will run fine. It's weird that I didn't have this problem the first time I ran the game. It may be an issue with automatically signing in to your EA account.

It runs fine, I just have a problem with logging in and staying logged in.
That said, I just re-opened the demo again and it logged me in automatically. I'm so confused. I'm going to try and disable the floppy drive that I actually don't have either regardless. Maybe it will register that I finished the demo this time around.
EDIT: I disabled the A drive and had no problems. Finished the demo and the Hayden's Razer is in my registered game promotions. Yay.

I get this "\\\\Device\\\\Harddisk2\\\\DR2" error too. I click try again until it has gone through each drive. Then I am logged in.

The same thing is happening to me, but when I click one of the options, my screen just goes black.

I'm getting that error as well. I don't even have external drives hooked up at the moment. I think it's the card reader the silly thing is flipping out about. That or it doesn't like I'm not using the first 2 sata ports for my hdds.

I seem to get it when I have DX11 enabled (had it enabled at start as default even though I have no DX11 compatible card).

Switching from DirectX 11 to 9 fixed this problem for me. (For the record, I have no external drives attached. Only peripherals are a Netgear Wireless adapter and a mouse/keyboard).
Didn't have this problem on my laptop.

Same problem exists for me in the retail game as well. Same hack works to get around the problem -- turn off dx11. Of course that was acceptable in the demo but not in the retail game =)

I too am getting the same:
The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive A: and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed.
This only happens when in the main menu connecting to the DA server. At first I could just press try again now the screen goes black and I have to ctrl+alt+del then cancel to click try again.
Besides this and a gfx crash due to glitching with real time depth and motion blur. I can run the game fine on dx11 on high res textures and setting on high @ 1080p.
BTW: Intel Core2 Quad@2.5 q9300
8Gb corsair 800mhz Xms2
2xGigabyte Gtx 460 768 OC in SLI
Asus P5N-D Mobo
Corsair GS700 PSU
Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Latest bios and drivers

Same thing happened to me when I tried re-enabling dx11 just now. I was able to fix the black screen issue by clicking off of the DA2 window (alt+tab basically) then bringing it back up. Game seems to function fine after that.
