I have a amd Athlon XP 2800+ with 2gb of ram. And ati HD 3850 pci-e (driver version 11-7), i use orings to install the game and i pach to the 1.03. The version of physx is 9.10.0513. an i on win xp sp3. And i have the issue when i run the game (not where install it). I install the amd_catalyst_11.4 (for the micro amd).

Any sugestions to get it working?

Some good news.Full game and demo starts with 2.8.4.5+cudart32_30_9.dll files but hangs after menu in loading screen.Theres in background application error box "The instruction at.." and in watson log access violation.I post to patch thread more specific details.
Someone else could post results with 2.8.4.5.Is it same?I used files from Pirates of Black Cove demo.(or download sdk from nvidia dev site)
Tried also files from that Torgue 3D Pacific demo and works so looks like 2.8.4.5 doesnt need sse2.

Using d3d11.dll doesnt make difference,its just gives "entry point not found" error and continus then.

Other updates about yesterday's testing: As I said before, I noticed that if you remove the PhysXCooking.dll, the error message is that the game could not locate that .dll instead of the usual "Error Initializing PhysX." I opened that up with .dll reader and editor and there wasn't much in there for me to view (not like I really planned on understanding much of it since I'm not a code-savvy guy). When I went into the code and deleted some parts about security and whatnot, it would still give the initialization error.<br />
However when I removed ALL of the code out of that one section and attempted to boot the game, it would give me a generic "The application failed to initialize blah blah blah" type error, not having to do anything with PhysX.<br />
So what did that actually tell me? Well, nothing I guess. But I'm still believing that that Cooking .dll has something to do with the problem. Either something in it doesn't function correctly or it plays a part in calling or referencing another PhysX resource somewhere that has some minor bug affecting our problem.<br />
Again, I'll post up results of my dual-boot experience later tonight or tomorrow (depending on how long the process will take to get a fresh install on and operating at effective levels).

This type of problem usually occurs when PhysXCooking.dll is missing from your computer. This dll file can be downloaded from here. dllcentral.com/physxcooking.dll/2.7.4/
Download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the Windows System32 folder, which is located in Windows Drive.

And then error.Box is flashing in background when mouse pointer hits there and clicking ok freezes loading screen.
Im still using 11.2 driver but anybody tried with 11.4 or newer.

UPDATE. anyone struggling to run this game still, I installed the DLC, and hey presto, it was fixed, hope it woks for you!!

1.  You are in the wrong forum. 

2.  An Optimus 525m is slightly better than a mere garbage graphics card, although not by much.  It is well below the minimum:
