So i started playing the game in DirectX9 with anti-aliasing x8 and anisotropic x16. And the game runs great.
But, when i turn on DirectX11 the game runs great even when i turn on anti-aliasing at x8. BUT, when i turn on the anisotropic, the game starts to have some lag.
I don't know why the game runs ok in DX11 even with AA x8 and when i turn on, even with x2 AF, starts to lag.
I have a intel i5 750 at 3.5ghz, 6gb ddr3,nvidia gtx470 with overclock. The game needs more juice ?
DirectX 11 low performance

Ive maxed out everything and not had an issue so far. Running an AMD Phenom II X4 810, 8GB DDR3 RAM, ATI Radeon 5770.

QX9650 with GTX280 and highest settings run fine. Did give the drivers and directX an update though.

i have some kind of "lag" when i mess up with AF setting. The other settings, don't change performance on my PC, only AF setting.
fps: 20 to 70.
I hope when the game will be released a patch as well, released.

The demo does not even have DX11 support enabled, that might be your problem.Calin Pandurescu wrote...

Sure, it says it does. But it doesn't.

When i select the DX11 from the game, my On-Screen Display from MSI Afterburner says DX11.

It says that maybe, but I think I'd trust the devs saying there is no DX11 over what your on screen display says.

I know DX11 works, but not with all the features, effects. But i am disappointed about the DX11 implementation on the game, DA2 gone GOLD to quick, it the game staid a little more in development, special in the optimization section it was great.

Didn't the devs say it was 'disabled'. Which would be that it's on there. In that case, Afterburner and others similar would still read DX11, but any performance issues would have to be tied to DX9.

DX 11 in the demo are the dx10 effects. Its mentioned in an article and also if u hover ur cursor on medium and high on the ingame graphics settings it may give u some idea.
