(the first being miranda)
Anyone else think it's pretty clear that isabella was designed with the mind of the typical adolecent male in mind? I mean come on, all I'm seeing is a **** with no boundries added simply because males want a hawt biatch to roll around with. Not much personality I think. Maybe I will just decline her offer of company and inform her that I am homosexual, yet still not have any romances of the kind.
So whats your thoughts on this clear "designed by men for teenagers... And men" character after playing the demo?
Big tats: check
Reveling cloths: check
Wants your *giggle-Squee-giggle*: check
"Badass no double crossing attitude": check
it all adds up.
Ever thought of moving on from this design Bioware?

And I'm sure all Zevran cared about was sex, too.

You hardly know her. Wait to judge.

I didn't know she had tattoos, or that they were big.

Other than that I'm not touching this topic with a ten foot pole.

Isabela is a butter face, and while I may be mexican, I can't find tan girls attractive. Not what my teenage dream was.

It's what we call personality, apparently.

I don't agree with the sentiments of the OP, but I do think women in Bioware games are increasingly becoming over-sexualized. Miranda and Isabela are the best examples of this. Look at character models from Jade Empire, they are normal human women. Bioware's new design for sexualized females reminds me of Barbie dimensions; impossible for a real human to attain.

In general, I do think Bioware is placing more emphasis on oversexualizing their characters, both men and women, but the women are beyond absurd looking.

Please Bioware, remember the days when you created feminine characters in Jade Empire like Dawn Star and Silk Fox who did not have ultra-sexualized bust measurements.

Huh... I don't know what kind of nerds you hang out with, but Merrill is way closer to the dreams of my nerds. Nerds don't want supermodels, they want someone they can have sex with both in real life and in their D&D games. Trufax.

From what I remember she did indeed and it went on for months after the game was released. I haven't been in the ME forums recently though so it could still be going on.

Miranda heat died down after you learned more about her in Shadow broker DLC.

She kind of reminded me of a female Han Solo. Losing the cargo...having an enemy being pissed off at her for that. Hunting her down.

As far as I can see, Isabela is a frat boy's dream. Merrill is cute, quirky, an elf, and has an interesting accent: all traits nerds and geeks tend to approve of.

I have to agree with the OP.

The two girls in DA1 were opposites, but they looked about the same. In DA2 the two girls are again opposits (good), but they took the looks way past the boundries. I'll be waiting for the More Modest Isabella Mod.

Yeah, well, on the other hand Aveline looks like Rocky Dennis, so it evens out.

Honestly, this talk about Isabela drives me nuts. Isabela isn't a sexualized character. Isabela is a sexualized PERSON. It's not feminist to say that women should have to wear habits and be modest, is it? This is just who Isabela is, she's not this way to please any man.
