Looks like we are being ignored. Considering that more than 1 million users dloaded the demo, a few whinging users missing out on a extra content must seem like nothing to them...

Still not working =( some dev input would be nice

Yes pls, i'm tired of playing the demo for god knows how many times now.

Same here. it was fun the first 4 or 5 times... i take that back the first couple of times, but 6 times now and i'm getting peeved. I've played every combination of character (two handed war, archer rogue etc.) at least once now, there's got to be some kind of workaround for everyone else.

I don't get how anyone is checking promotions there is no such option as CHECK PROMPTIONS.

Somoene needs to fully do a step by step explanations on the exact things they are clicking on that lead up to where one can see this mystery screen that is hidden becuase I can't find it on top of that how do you know...Does it say YOU HAVE THE RAZOR UNLOCKED...I don't get it

It's possible to be so burned out by the demo that the actual game isn't worth looking forward to anymore?

The way things are going it's becoming a nigh possibilty.

Some Bioware feedback even if it was just to pop in and say sorry you're f***ed would be better than nothing. At 100+ replies in this thread and there's nothing, not a peep that's it being looked into or addressed. Who's to say if the demo keeps disconnecting you that the full release version won't do the same? And what happens if the consquences of getting disconnected in the middle of the game have even more major setbacks than just a missing item?

This is crazy, still no reply to this thread from the Devs, wow. I hope the full game doesn't have a lot of stupid issues like this. We wont ever get them fixed at this rate, lol. The Devs need to speak up and let us know what is going on, I already have my pre-order paid off and I just don't wanna be disappointed when the free stuff isn't there. I told a crap load of my friends to download this demo, so people who are buying it could get a few extra items. Now I am worried we wont get those items like Bioware said.
They really do need to speak up I don't know what they are thinking. Communication can go a long way in this industry. Speak the fu%k up Devs don't leave us wondering what will happen next, due to this silent treatment we are getting.

 Go here: http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php

And i heard something about how if you press Esc after the final battle fast enough it might not log you out at the end if you're lucky.

When you finish the demo don't skip anything just let it run until the end of the demo and loot all of the bodies as well.

I have played numerous times not touching a damn thing, as well as looting all bodies. I am playing on the console demos. Both PS3 and Xbox 360 and nothing. I have also sent out 2 emails to this Bioware Community Coordinator : Chris Priestly, I think I spelled it right, but the guy never responds. Is it not his job to kinda keep us in the loop about all this crap? Idk I am done trying to get the dagger, hopefully it will be unlocked at release date.

I keep getting the 'The Dragon Age Servers are temporary unavailable' message when I load up the demo, same with ME2 so I assume they're down or is something wrong on my end?

I play on the Xbox 360 and I got the same issues as most guys in this thread have. Before I start playing the demo I log in to my EA Account and when I finish it I'm mysteriously logged out. The same thing has happened four times now. I've played through the demo with a male of each class and a female mage, if it matters.

EDIT: I can also mention that I've played it through on the PC aswell, and on that platform I got it (Hayder's Razor) on my third or fourth try.

EDIT #2: I finally got Hayder's Razor on my 360. I tried to go through the demo as fast as I could (skipping every cutscene) while also looting everything. This time I did it with a male 2-hander warrior (the first time I did it with a sword & board warrior). I don't really think it matters what talents you choose or what class you have, the only thing that matters is luck. Probably.

Ive played the demo several times, looting bodies, playing different classes... you name it, i did it. Nothing.... no unlocked items. It would be great, if some bioware stuff could look into this issue - thx.

Same here - I have played through the demo five times now and tried most of the recommendations on this page with no luck. Any developer response would be much appreciated.

Did that the last couple of times and it didn't help. I've tried doing it while directly connected to the modem and that wasn't it either. No trouble staying connected to anything else, only the demo.

They probly will be just giving the Hayder's Razor to everyone now, since the demo is screwed up. I still havent heard a reply to my emails. I also emailed EA on the situation and I am waiting on a reply. Probly be til tonight or tmrw that I hear somethin. Kinda sucks the Devs dont even give a crap about this issue, at least that is how it seems. If I hear anything on my end ill be sure to let you all know, since no one else *cough* DEVS *cough* will, lol.
peace everybody

Hey, I wanted to post an update in case anyone read my post at the end of page 4.

My theory was that Social.Bioware.com was allowing me to set a password that it didn't actually allow to be used (it allows you to set passwords with characters that don't actually work when trying to log in, causing such passwords not to allow login, even though it allows you to set such passwords successfully).

After making my password more simple (removing characters # and &), I was then able to log into Social.Bioware.com. This new password also fixed the issue of getting an error message upon loading the demo that said it was unable to log in when I had that "Always stay logged in" option checked. Now I can check that option and it successfully logs in when I start the demo.

I haven't yet had time to play through the demo after fixing my password, but due to the auto-login issue being fixed, I think that I may have found what was causing the logout failure for me. Feel free to try this out if you use symbols in your Social.Bioware.com passwords. I'll post again once I have time to run through the demo.

I made another thread on EA's Forum since we cant get any of the Dev Team to step up and talk about this issue. It is called "Issue regarding Dragon Age 2 demo, Hayder's Razor". If any of you all are still having an issue I suggest posting it under my thread to see if EA can help us out. It seems to be something to do with their servers, but then it could be something to do with the demo its self, but either way post on there to please. It will help get this figured out this week before the game comes out Tuesday.
Thanks, peace
