This is what it shows under my "your registered game promotions". LOL I hope I havent had it this whole time, lol there is nothing to the right tho, of all of those items.

In this case it means you have the DLC linked to your account. There doesn't have to be anything beside it, only the platform (xbox, ps3, pc) where it can be applied.

Only if those items DON'T show up in your 'registered game promotions' you don't get them.

Finally got it. Following some of the suggestions in this thread coupled with a good amount of luck.

Here's what i did (Steam Version Demo DL on PC):

1) If you can connect directly to your modem and not through a wireless connection or router. (I did this before and didn't get it to work, but i think this is still crucial). If you're on Broadband, maybe try playing at an off time when you think you'll have better connection speed, I.E.: late at night or early in the morning, when it's less likely that your neighbors will be sapping all of the speed.
2) Turn off all the graphics settings to as low as you can (don't want any extra loading during cutscenes or drawn out battles).
3) Configure your online setup in the game's loading menu. Turn off all of the options to upload your gamerprofile and the such.
4) Turn off auto log-in on start up. Log in as normal and start a new game.
5) Play through the game as quickly as you can, i'm sure you can beat it in 20 Mins. or less if you skip through all the fluff and cutscenes. I'm sure most of you know the dialogue by heart at this point.
6) Sit through the end movie without skipping through it. Don't know if this anything to do with it but the system might give you problems if it thinks you've skipped through everything so fast that it didn't get to play through even the first part of the ending.

Tried it again with some of the suggestions to get Hayder's razor, but no luck. I didn't get logged out, I didn't skip anything, didn't use auto login, had subtitles up, and I was logged in. Well i'll try one more time and this time i'll try to get through it ASAP by skipping through the cut scenes and see if that makes a difference. crossing my fingers.

Ya, it seems I am an idiot, lol. EA told me that, if the item is there under "Your registered game promotions" you have it unlocked, and on release date it will be available for download. I am such a Dbag forgive me Bioware, I am not worthy, lol. Unless I dont get these items then there will be hell to pay. LMAO jk jk. So if you see the item there you have it and will get it on release date. Its funny I should be a moderator on here , but then again I would probly be a total dick too haha.

i completed in on Both Xbox (and got it on first run... still tried out all 3 classes XD ) and PC (Same to compare).... and didn't get it.... will I have to download again and complete it, Again, to get a chance to get it... again? or is there anything to be done?

On playthrough 11, I finally got it to unlock. No secret tricks, checking or unchecking or turning on subtitles or the like. I just skipped everything I could to minimize the time the servers had to dump me out.

It seems no-one knows what the problem is. I am thinking it has something to do with server capacity and demo popularity... good thing for Bioware (more demo players means more buyers) but they should try and communicate a bit about this problem...

(btw: I remember the same problem arose around the flash game for Dragon Age: Origins, the DLC didn't unlock properly, in the end everybody just got it. They will probably do the same trick again on this one).

Hrmm... problem seems to be solved?

On the PS3 I am no longer kicked from the server, did a quick run-through (skipping all dialogue and cut-scenes) and: I've got the DLC.

Last point I'll make in this thread: you do not have to pick up the sword from Hayden at the end of the last battle. The DLC is rewarded for playing through the demo, not picking up the item.

Just played it on the PC. I turned off the autologin and that seemed to do it on the PC. Also the very end after the end video but before it returns you to the main screen the logo popped up. I didn't click or try to exit that as I did before. After 10 seconds returned me to main menu and it showed up in my promotions.

Also, concerning this bug. I'm getting the same problem, I've completed it three or four times and it says logged out after I'm done, when I try and log in, I get a DISK error that. This is not cool Bioware.

I can't even sign in to the Dragon Age servers at all, anyone else have this problem? I'm on 360. It just says they're unavailable constantly.

I'm not getting logged out... I think. And my ea and bioware accounts are the same but after completing the demo MANY times I still don't have hayders razer under my user entitlements... Any suggestions people??

try checking or unchecking log in automatically each time when you log in to the demo.

Fastburn, I clicked the link and subscribed maybe about 10x now, it says that I should have it in the registered promotions page but I still dont have the staff in the registered game promotions..

Is it supposed to say at the end of the demo that you have unlocked the weapon or that if you complete it you unlock the weapon? as it doesn't say anything on mine about unlocking anything (xbox 360) or is it supposed to be like this??

It's supposed to work like that: there is no 'reward screen' or anything if you're looking for that. Just go to your profile straight after finishing the demo, and go to the tab: 'Profile' and then: 'Your registered game promotions', it should show up there like this:

I have the same problem !

I've played the demo I don't know how many times but I just can't get it to register in my promotions tab! I've tried every suggestion in this thread and still nada... I'm playing on the PS3.
