Am I experiencing a bug or is the main menu actually not available in the demo? Also I cannot save the game. I wish I could because the game crashes every time I play and if I could save my game at least I could load it back up instead of starting at the very beginning each time.

nah manual saving is not part of the demo,

when u mean with menu the inventar then no, its not available in the demo

I mean main menu as in how most games let you hit escape and you can save, load, change settings, quite, etc.

Downloading new drivers in hopes that it fixes my crash problem (I'm also crashing in Bulletstorm which came out today so hopefully thats it). I just got drivers it seems a month ago but I'm behind a good bit. Crossing my fingers.

Main menu works fine, hit escape - it doesn't work during videos/cutscenes.

As for saving, it's disabled in the demo.

Save, load and inventory is locked out of the demo. Rest should be working.

Yep it is. Updating graphics drivers helped with crashing. I just finished the demo. I like how it gave you a glimpse into farther in the game. All in all I think it's a lot of fun. The combat certainly isn't as tactical as DA:O or as 'old school Bioware' as DA:O but if I looked at it from the perspective that it is it's own game, I found myself enjoying the game.



That and the main guy is different than the videos made me see him. I thought he was a preening brat who was just power hungry and childish from previews and videos but he's got far more dimension then that.



Looking forward to the full game on the 8th. My b-day is the 7th and it'll make the best b-day present to myself I've received in years!
