I really don't see how it could be a fun class without having a quiver on your back. That's like saying being a 2 handed warrior is fun, but your sword doesn't have a hilt.

They feel too overpowered to me! Though I guess its better to how horrendously underpowered the ones in Origins were.

Are we going to stand for this, or demand a patch? (If the problem does persist in the retail version) I mean how much coding or whatever could it take to add a quiver? Maybe 5 minutes of work for them? Sebastion has one.

I never used archery in Origins, but I gotta say I had a lot of fun with it this time around.

In general I'm not a fan of archery in most games ... just not my thing - usually boring, out of the action, not particularly exciting or versatile ... but I have to tell you, I tried it out and LOVED the archery path in the demo. Though I had absolutely no intention of doing so, I may just have to play an archer in DA2 now ... it says something for a game when it completely changes your opinion of a play style.

Archers are the new mage. They can do everything--crowd control, AoE damage, single target damage.
Well, I guess they can't heal. Yet. I bet one of the specializations has Healing Arrow!
Also, there is no quiver, because Hawke doesn't shoot arrows. She shoots air. That's right--the Champion of Kirkwall is so epic that the frequency of her bowstring thrumming causes enemies to explode in gore.

I don't know, but I think that's more because it irked me having to tap A each time I wanted to fire, which will be remedied in the full game.

I liked it, and I think it's much, *much*; improved over archery in Origins, but I still don't love it as much as being a mage. Spell-slingers are still my fave so far.

For me, Archers totally outshoot Mages.
I mean, mages do tons of damage quicker(First Ogre goes down in like ten seconds with a Mage while with Warrior or Rogue it'll take a minute), but the rogue and warrior has survivability that the mage does not, as far as I'm concerned.

So, how do you guys think Archery will hold up as the game progresses?
Think it'll still feel overpowered?

I can live without the quiver, to be honest.
Would've been nice if there were quivers/bowstrings and the like, but alas, there is not.
