So, how do you guys think Archery will hold up as the game progresses?
Think it'll still feel overpowered?
I hope not... but then I don't mind being over powered
Being an archer in DA2 is LOTS better than being an archer in DA:O.

A quiver would be nice, but if its not included, I don't see the issue. Its an extra item on the back of a rogue and it'd have to be there at all times a bow and arrow is being used.

I wholeheartedly concur.
I just hope Archery remains awesome throughout the game instead of being awesome at the start and gimped by end-game.

I don't see why this would be left out seeing as it was in Origins.Dubya75 wrote...
A bow needs a quiver, just like peas needs carrots. Hopefully this was only a demo thing and it will all be ok in the full game.

Gotta take some stuff out to put stuff in.
Never know. Maybe it was between including quivers or nug-firing bows.
I'll take the nug bows, grazie.

I was planning on first playing a Mage, then a 2h Warrior, then an Archery Rouge, but after the demo I was totally blown away by Archery, and will now use that in my first playthrough.

Which is ridiculous, because I always play Sword and Shielders first.

Then you and I are in the same boat, as always.

Seriously though, it took my archer and warrior a good minute to take out the first Ogre. Took my mage 10 seconds.
That's not even fair to the enemies, come on now.
But Archer Rogues are so powerful, I'll use one first.
Now I just gotta decide on her name.

I also like how you can use the Evade talent to backflip, get some space, and fire some more arrows.

The ONLY problem I have with archery:
Where is the arrow quiver when you have a bow equipped? Where is Hawke getting his arrows from?
Materialised from sheer power of will.

What is this, Fable?

Could be that in the main game they are present though... I hope so (I do get the lack of it though, as it could incite alot of clipping or floating if you want some special rogue armors...)
About that mysterious dagger, I ain't seeing one he just seems to slap the foes... would be sort of interestinf if he were to use an arrow in his hand to stab with....

Arrows would snap. Daggers would hold their own.

Agreed, the archer is much better now than DAO. It was really slow in DAo that you felt let you warent doing any thing . I just like the fact that the archer pull put a dagger (yes i show it being used) when fighting up close, no more trying to shot a guy when he is up close.
