I've downloaded the demo twice, first only downloading 821mb of the 1.9gb, and then 252mb. I try to play either or and they both say "Installer integrity chech has failed. Common cause incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installers author to obtain a new copy.

I have had the same problem. Twice downloading but only gets around 400Mb and says it is completed. Run the installer and get the same error as OP.

Running WinXP, Download using Firefox.

1st: 500 mb

2nd: 200mb

3rd and 4th: 350mb.

Fifth time's the charm I suppose ...

Just download off of fileplanet took me like 10 min to download and no wait just hace to use there download manger

Same problem. already try to download it with Chrome and Firefox, gonna try IE but i dont really have much hope that it works

Didn't know Steam had it. It failed on my twice. Once around 507mb, once around 944mb. Thanks for the headsup. Downloading on Steam now!

I wish I had know it was at fileplanet.  I read in the forums it would only be available on the DA website.  After several failed attempts, I am now downloading super fast from Fileplanet.

EA likely is using the server by the coffee machine to cut costs.. download off steam. you get better download speeds then 200kb/s and it actually finishes. kicking myself for actually even trying to download it off an EA server.

was getting the same thing on bioware site..no more than 600mb and was gonna take 1 to 2 hours.

just found it on steam took 10 min and all downloaded.

My download speeds have to be just slow because I'm getting the same download speeds from all 3 sources :/

4th try to get it from the website. But its done now. thouse having trouble if it does it again, rename the download after dealting the other attepts. how i got mine to work.

took only about 15 min to download, installing as i type

Could not agree more! Anything they can do to get a penny...
EA is the only company I know of that uses coupons when buying there servers from the blue-light goodie bin  

Was having the same problem, max speed was 80kb/s (ouch!) and of course got to maybe 200mb before the connection snapped.

Downloading from Steam at the moment, so far my speed has been between 3.7mb/s and 4.9mb/s

If anyone else is having problems with the download, either download from FilePlanet or Steam.

FilePlanet is working nice, hasn't stopped yet and that's good, still a sucky 120-150kb/s thou =[

My guess is that it has a lot to do with the amount of internet traffic on the server. I usually download at 1mb/sec to 1.5mb/sec but the first few times I downloaded it I was only getting like 200kb/sec.

Its not like they asked 1 Million people to download the demo.. then when 100 000 people try the server implodes on itself.
