Finally found the right place to post this thread !

Here's a list of the bugs I've stumbled upon:

-Characters sometimes will not use healing poultices when prompted to. It might be a bug or perhaps there is an invisible cooldown,  either fix it or display the cooldown.

-Wesley will display dialogue with subtitles when clicked upon outside of dialogue gameplay  but no audio will play.

-Audio volume seems inconsistent between segments of the demo

-The tactics screens seems very buggy at the moment: after clicking on a few icons the game will no longer properly register where the mouse cursor is, and seemingly assign conditions and actions at random. The only way I've found to fix this is to go out and back into the tactics screen after assigning either a condition or an action, making it extremely laborious to properly configure Hawke's party.
-Aveline's passive skill in the one-handed warrior branch will automatically be assigned conditions on when to activate and desactivate in the tactics screen, however as a passive skill it is supposed to be active at all times.
-Before levelling up Carver, no use skill action can be assigned even though he has mighty blow.

-Condition "self surrounded by at least x enemies" does not seem to work, same as condition "any"

- The demo seemingly randomly decides to log you out your account. I had to re-login to my account after completing the demo and play through again to unlock Hayder's Razor.

I add my list of bugs:



I was using directx 9 as video settings, I have vista, 2gb ram, 2.7ghz 64x2 dual core processor AMD 5200+ , GeForce 9600 GT, medium quality settings



I Agree with Abbbe:

-Audio volume seems inconsistent between segments of the demo (I had to raise up considerably my speakers volume)

-The tactics screens etc..



- As mage I learned a powerup for the group from the tree of Creation (I do not remember the name of the skill), but I saw no information on my characther of such powerup to all my party, and I didn't understand if the powerup it work at radious of distance from the mage or it always active.



- I had considerable flickering of white intermittent on the left bottom corner (especially on the background color of the image of the Characther).



- Sometimes the screen was jumping just before the movie sequence, and I was not having a nice fading effect of transition.

-Condition "enemy clustered" does not seem to work, same as condition "any". Not sure about this one, seems quite erratic.

condition "being surrounded by ennemies" doesn't work at all. my mage kept casting mindblast when there was no one anywhere near him.

(cool spell btw.  Sith lord ftw )

I agree with Abbbe on some bugs:

- the Tactics screen... never accepted my tactics if the field didn't blink yellow, and the mouse cursor used to randomly disappear. Making it extremely difficult to set up a tactic quickly :/

- The invisible cooldown on potions. Game said I could use it already, though Hawke didn't use it at all for 1 more minute D: nearly died.

- The Audio volume. Game sound smooth, but when it switched to Cutscene it just got toooo louuuud X.X



And I noticed one more bug : When trying to dish out the attribute points, when you click somewhere in nowhere you get out of menu back to game. Was because I was switching between charas, clicked in the field and got back to game o_o that should not happen

Not sure If "Stuttering/Loading in cut scenes" I had same issue as well, I'm not sure if it's relate with PC performance, but my spec pass Recommended System Requirements.

That's a Vsync issue, disabling it fixes that. You can probably force it though the nVidia/ATI control panel after, but I haven't tried that yet.

It's fixed in the full game.

This is not a bug but a somewhat poorly conceived UI issue, clicking on the small levelup arrow on a character's portrait while assigning stats or skills will dump you back to the game, but clicking on a character's portrait outside of the arrow will switch to that character in the levelup menu.

Bug assigning new tactic to brother. I could select Enemy But in the sub menu when I clicked Any it would give me something else. Possibly to do with UI or Resolution?

Running in 1920x1200

After initial battle you get to name your charachter. After doing so and pressing accept (or whatever button there is to go forwad) the game crashes and throws me to desktop.

only problem i've had so far is the game stutters everytime you go in and out of a cutscene (long enough to get "loading..." to come up for 1 or 2 seconds) and same goes for cutscenes where Hawke gets to talk it'll stutter at every camera transition and everytime you make a dialogue choice

I had stuttered game-play in the fight scene within the Chanty, when I shouldn't. Other than that I didn't experience any problems. :)





(Although, what the EFF is up with the running animation? It was near perfect in DAO, what happened?)

Are you using Direct X 11 by any chance? If so, use DX9.

The demo its an old release....we need patience for the full version.

It doesn't matter if it is old or not. Starting a bug list can help Bioware check to see if it still occurs in the release version.

As for the bug I found.

The cursor will sometimes remove the attack option for the character if you are holding down the tab button. I had to release the tab button and switch between two characters to get the attack option back for the first character. Not sure if it is a bug, but if you are trying to upgrade a character from their avatar, that is currently not selected, the game won't let you. You will be able to get into the character screen, but it will kick you out when you try to upgrade them.

The sound & audio volumes is rather low during the entire demo.I had to almost maximize the volume of my 2.1 speakers

- the dialog lags

Yeah the demo itself is quiet but the audio when the cutscenes with Varric hit it gets quite a bit louder. Especially when u beat the demo the volume goes to its normal levels, so if u have the volume turned up u get blasted.

The broken tactics screen was the only problem that I had with this demo. Hopefully, it will be fixed by March 8.

Anyone had Flemeth start a new sentence before finishing the last in your talk with her (just 1 time during conversation)?

The sorrunded etc things were working for me I think. Though when targeting a cluster of enemies with a fireball the game targets the ground and so it hits noone because all have moved away from there.
