Buggy Tactics screen for me too.
Fail to drink potion also.
GUI not responding on intial left click in general
Frequent loading (for a fraction of a second sometimes)
Player Character fails to respond to a new target selection (random error)
Toggling the interface off and then selecting any other NPC using the function keys results in not being able to use abilities until the interface has been toggled back on.
Random crash -- locked system. (x4)
Wesley dialogue failed to trigger.  Approached Wesley to interact and his lips moved but no sound.
Male Rogue Hawk became stuck in a boulder, I had to restart the demo.
Male Rogue Hawk became stuck in a spinning kick loop -- weired looking spinning top

(not sure if it's a bug but the camera angle fully zoomed in leaves half the screen real estate rendering the sky.  Battles are a dense experience with only the lower half of the screen rendering anything of real importance to the player.  Maybe it's the camera height and scaling?)

Mobo: Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe (up to date)
CPU: AMD Athlon x2 6000+
Ram: 2 gb Corsair DDR 800 (dual)
Sound: XFI Extreme Gamer (up to date)
Graphics: 8800 GTS 640 (up to date)
OS: Windows XP (up to date)

- I was unable to confirm changes in character abilities because the bottom panel covered the buttons. That happened with the last character in a row. The only way to exit to the main screen was to press the Esc button without an upgrade.

- During the dialogues there were pauses after every line.

I was suffering from choppy framerates in game and even worse in chat-sceanes. Yet the "video" type sections ran fine (The arty joining sceanes, and the compilation clips at the end of the Demo)

I had the "fail to drink a potion" happen to me once or twice.

The Mini map during the Lotherering Escape was glitchy, looking like a random mess of pixels and blocky textures rather than an actual map (However enemy positions and freindly postion markers on the map were fine).

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but there don't appear to be saves of any kind. I can't manually save, and after ~1 hour there had been no autosaves. Anyone know how long the demo is, so I can block out that much time?

My only other bugs were stuttering at the transitions into and out of cutscenes. That was resolved by disabling Vsync. As has previously been reported, DirectX 11 is really buggy, but switching to DirectX 9 worked for me.

- Demo asked me to insert or close the disk tray to Drive A. Pressing continue allowed the message to go away and continue just fine.

- With tactics on, my controlled character will sit there until I successfully right click an enemy's circle. This was a personal issue with DA:O and I would usually just control a pet as the computer is much better at targeting than I am, and I don't have to pause the game every time I want to change targets, especially if the target is charging at me.

-Silent Wesly when clicked on

-Win 7 64bit

-PhysX enabled on GeForce 8600 GTS

-Main card is GeForce GTX 470

-Driver version 260.99

-Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU @ 2.40GHz

-Phys Mem 5.99 GB

-VRAM 1.25 GB

-EVGA nForce 780i SLI = Motherboard

-Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)

-Driver version 6.1.7600.16385

-DirectX DirectX 11 (Jun2010) or later

-User failure to keep party alive. When fighting the ogre, I had trouble changing to wounded party members and telling them to heal before they ran out of health. Then they were hit by a fireball and the mage was all that was left. On the plus side, the mage is all you need to defeat the ogre and his friends.

-Really, the Demo worked well, once it loaded. Though there may be something off with the graphics, as Flemeth looked weird, and not like an old hag who talks too much. :)

Found a bug (dunno if helps, but i was using the female rogue) while trying to attack a hurlock: instead of attacking him, game was keep targeting the ground, trying to move on it just at the feet of enemy model, resulting in a "keep running in the face of the hurlok", being hitted without any response of the hero.

Unresponsive party members, did anybody else get this? I've had it badly both times I've played, to the point I just didn't bother with my second play.

Basically some or all of your party members just become totally unresponsive, you can select them but no matter how much I click they just wouldn't move, they just stand there, the only way I could snap them out of this was to use an ability, use fireball for Beth and she would become responsive again, doesn't work with carver as you can't get him to use the talent he has in non combat situations, so he is just left stood there as you run off up the map.

Here's an interesting bug that I haven't seen mentioned yet: DX11 rendering will preserve desktop scaling. This means that I basically see the top left quarter or so of the screen unless I go back to normal scaling, making my text illegible from the couch (my monitor is a 1080p 42" screen, and I sit about 12 feet away). I didn't have this problem at all with DX9 rendering. Will this be fixed for the final release?

- Not always but very often when Orge is charging it in magical way ends up in different spot (mostly turned backwards far away before your character).

Oops, I posted a face bug in the Black Face bug thread before I saw this thread with a list of bugs.

Basically, this:

Image IPB

Image IPB

But the issue resolved itself after a few seconds. Apart from that, just lots of random crashes. Oh and I got the problem someone else mentioned, where a character won't drink their health poultice. Oh and sometimes a talent (can't remember what it's called . . . the one where a rogue throws a bomb) doesn't do anything, although I'm not sure if maybe that's because I wasn't using it right.

I noticed that the description text when selecting a class was not the same between female and male.
Some had an extra comma and other had another word and so on, nothing major but still.
Screens:
Screen 1
Screen 2

There where lagging when going from and to a cutscene.

Some more:
  • Pressing R sometimes didn't make the character target the nearest enemy
  • Pressing the level-up arrow on the charater portrait sometimes doesnt do anything, and when it does take me to the levelling up window, the window is usually for a character other than the one whose portrait I clicked
  • The tactics buttons are . . . stuffed. Sometimes I can click them, sometimes I can't.

-- I also had the game crashing after accepting my character name. Fixed by setting graphics to Ugly- I mean Low. Hoping that doesn't continue to be an issue in the game proper. My computer isn't fabulous, but it played DA:O and ME2 on maxed-out graphics with no problems.

-- Silent Wesley outside of cutscenes.

-- Characters not using Quick Heal when prompted. I lost Bethany twice when there was plenty of time to use a potion. She just wouldn't do it. Add in the extra-long recharge time for Heal (a full minute? REALLY?) and keeping the party in good health was really annoying.

-- Tactics, tactics, tactics. The screen was almost impossible to navigate. It took me a full five minutes just to change "Ally > Health under 25%" to "Ally > Health under 50%" for Bethany's Heal ability. Whenever I found the sweet spot to click on Ally, the next menu kept auto-selecting Highest-Lowest Health instead of the regular Health box and I couldn't go back. After that ordeal, I just didn't bother with editing tactics anymore. I also encountered the surrounded by enemies tactic being ignored. Bethany looooved casting Fireball on a lone enemy when she was three seconds from getting swarmed. Way to go, sis. This stuff seriously hampers gameplay if you want to use tactics at all.

- AoE attack commands sometimes don't register, you need to press them twice successively

- Sound is too low

- Sometimes your character will just glitch between a special attack/attack going back and forth every split second (this only happens if you're controlling another character)

- It can sometimes take multiple attempts to drink a potion (noticed it on companions, not PC)

- On the female warrior, the sword clips through the shield

- Tons of jerky animations

Big problem: After leveling up, pressing ESC no longer closes the main menu.

- Left clicks are not always registered when I want to cast spells
- I get really really choppy framerates...and my PC is high end!

DX 11.

Sometimes in combat the mouse cursor won't change to an attack symbol when I'm hovering it over an enemy, so right-cllicking does nothing but move the character. The problem once persisted after combat had ended and I tried to pick up loot; the cursor wouldn't change to the pick-up symbol and I couldn't gather the loot. Switching to a different character and then switching back worked.

Don't know that these are bugs, exactly, but they are issues (small ones), so may as well point them out.

When clicking to talk to Varric he has no voice, unlike the other party members

Carver died, but it was still Carver who appeared with my Hawke in the first cutscene in Kirkwall. Was still Bethany in the playable bit, though.

That's all x

That's not a bug. They've recorded bits of gameplay and stuck them together to make a cutscene connecting the end of the Lothering part of the demo with the Kirkwall part.

dx11.
While in dx11, I can run up to 8xAA at High Graphics but if I add any other settings, I start to slow down. While in DA:O I set everything to max and not a bit FPS slowdown.
I'm using a Geforce GTS 450 and I apparantly go well best the games reccomodations.

From other comments I've seen on this, AMD users have far less if any troubles with running at high settings in comparison to Nvidia. From what I've seen anyway.

I had one where you get to Kirkwall and after the first little battle when the woman asks you to "Check the body," I had already looted the ONLY body before she said it and the game wouldn't progress at all.

I could go to the chantry do, see it's name lit above it and the map marker was there, but because I had looted the body "Before I was supposed to" it wouldn't let me interact with the door or do anything.

This is something that can be game breaking and cost hours and hours of time (if you hadn't saved in the game before then) if it's reproducable.
