I'm infront of the chantry door (Isabella is there aswell) with a yellow marker on the door and I can't do anything. I can't enter the chantry (door is nonfunctional), can't talk to Isabella, I keep turning in circles to see if I missed something.

What happened is you looted the letter from the body before Isabela told you to. Since you picked up the item before the audio trigger told you to do it the Chantry door will remain locked. Unfortunately, the only solution to this issue is to restart the demo.

does this include not loading after "opening" the door? i get stuck in an infinite loop of loading....waited 23 minutes last night and got no further.

I can't believe that they would launch the game with such a bug.. I lost 2 hours of gameplay just because of this.

Same problem for me but I loaded the last automatic save game and I'm back into the game.

I've completed all of the quests before the expedition and now I'm stuck waiting for a patch so I can get this chick in my party. Makes me miss WoW where you can cancel a quest and start over if it bugs out.
