PC version. Updated graphics & audio drivers.

Sometimes, during cutscenes, the audio stutters.

Also, sometimes the game runs a bit too quickly - character movements, animated elements from the menu, etc. are all too slow. On DA:O, I have to manually restrict the game to run on only 1 CPU core, then the movements look fine. This doesn't seem to work reliably in the demo.

Also, don't know if this falls into the bug category, but when I ALT-TAB to windows, cutscenes keep running - the dialogue keeps playing even though the game is running in the background.

Same problem here, changing the demo's .exe Priority to High on the Task Manager helped a bit but it still happens occasionally.

Edit: Alright might have found a solution. I had a similar problem with New Vegas and had to use an ENB Silent Hill patch to fix it. It look like the same patch works on Dragon Age as well.

http://enbdev.com/download_en.htm

Goto that link, download the "Patch v11 for Silent Hill Homecoming". Put d3d9.dll, enbseries.ini and the two shader text files into the Dragon Age 2 demo's bin_ship folder (*install path*/Dragon Age 2 Demo/bin_ship) and put the vars_pc file into the data folder (*install path*/Dragon Age 2 Demo/data).

I got no more audio stutters after that.

Turning off v-sync seems to have done the trick, but now I get some screen tearing. So I'll try your fix and see if it works.

thanks, this might even work on mass effect 2 :)

Edit:
Well it works for the demo but makes some models a bit glitchy for me

I tried it in the demo (the Silent Hill patch and desabling the V-Sync), and it helps, but only a little :< I suspect it might be my PC, though, it's not all that powerful.
